molten gold drips from my eyes and spatters on my chest, erasing the scars that mark it. i wake up and start anew, unscarred but still haunted by a life that once was mine.

Do you ever watch a lover’s wings spread wide against a midnight sky and think to yourself, I have chosen the loveliest of the Fallen.

Sometimes, his cheeks turn red like a sunrise heralding a storm. Which isn’t to say that he doesn’t exist in a state of storm. My lover hides Jupiter’s Red Spot under his skin, bubbling and boiling and howling winds rattling the bones in his chest. He is tiger teeth, and the great eyes of an eagle. Something so very predator, so very hunter, so very consume.

I wonder if he spends nights cradling his halo between his hands, fragmented and ill with rust, and tries to hold it together again.

Then, he is waves, washing over me. Filling every crevice of me hollowed with time. He washes away weeks, days, hours, minutes, a tsunami. A tidal wave of, it has to be you.

And to be so united in all things as we are, never bearing each other venom and anger, that must be the thing of soulmates.

Luck and Fortune Jar ✨

Trying my hand at jar magic today!!! I just received some flowers from graduation and though why not make things witchy. Today’s main ingredients are peony flowers. Their petals are said to promote good luck, good fortune, prosperity, and business success. I used the petals, pollen, and leafs in this spell.

Ingredients:

✨: Glass jar with cork (or any container you desire)

✨: Peony petals, leafs, and pollen

✨: Gold beads, confetti, or anything really (optional)

✨: Paper and string for Sigil

✨: Sparker/Flint & Steel/ or a flame (CAREFUL WITH FIRE GUYS)

I bought my jars at the dollerama and they were super cheap (I have another 2 for other spells). I always loved jars like these with corks but if you prefer to use another container go for it.

I used a “puddle” of pollen that had gathered on the peony petals. I shifted it into the jar. I also pulled a few petals and leaves from the flowers and put them in the jar.

Adding a few little gold tokens. These are not nessecary but I used them as a representation of good fortune. (Also I’m crazy for shiny stuff and aesthetics)!!!.

Finally I added a sigil for beauty, good luck and fortune. I use this one mainly for beauty but I thought this is the best sigil for me to use. You can create or use other sigils if you want!! After tying the sigil into a scroll, I capped the jar and used a little bit of clear nail polish to hold it down.

Using my flint & steel, I created a few sparks to cleanse the jar. The sparks did catch a few pollen specks outside the jar and made little smoke circles which was very surprising.

Her feathers are hard to look at, staticky oilslick plumage, so best look at Her face. a barn owl’s face, pale as paper - it looks like paper, actually, like a mask more than a face. you heard from someone that claimed to have been Taken by She The Night that in Her domain, at night She hangs Her face in the sky, and hunts blind with the jagged maw as was beneath it. don’t think about that when you meet Her gaze. you really, REALLY do not want to come off as prey.
