Eiji squinted for a second at the perky comment of the other man, sensing the inhuman aura enveloping the other. “Is that so…?”, was all he offered in reply, cautiously eyeing the other.

They looked at the taller male in curiosity. Did he just… squint at me? They shrug it off in an instant, though and reply in the same happy tone. “Yes of course! I remember having my hair black once before. But it didn’t look that great! I think that the black hair looks very nice on you”

"T-Thanks I guess...", Eiji replied, rubbing the back of his head, not used to receiving such kind of compliments. "Y-your hair's not that bad I guess...?", the young man said, struggling on finding the words to answer back.

"Tch, I already said sorry didn’t I?", Eiji answered in reflex, his annoyance fueled by the pulsing pain upon his head. Gripping forcefully to his rational side, the tengu eyed the young girls before offering his free hand. He blinked a few times at the blurring scenery in front of him, managing to focus for a bit.

"Here", he muttered, waiting up for the other to take his offer.

Hoshimi looked up at the offender that pushed her. It was a young man with sleek black hair. She pursed her lips. What was with her and running into people with that color hair? Taking the offered hand she got up and tilted her legs. Her stockings were ruined. She sighed. She had gotten them online too, they would take forever to reship. Carefully brushing off her stockings, now ripped and dirtied from the side-walk, she looked back up and observed the dark-haired man. She could automatically tell two things: he was not human, and he was hurt in some way. She reflexively stepped back, tucking her purple hair behind her shoulders. Hopefully she’ll just look like a cosplayer to him. 

"No need to sound so annoyed," she muttered softly in reply before rubbing the back of her head before continuing, "but thanks for helping me up."

"Sorry... I took it out on you...", Eiji apologized, pressing the space between his brows as if that were to help appease his headache."It's nothing... um... your stockings...", the young man struggled to keep his attention locked on the one standing before him. "A-anyway I can repay them...?", Eiji added, his voice wavering as his vision blurred for a second.

Kohaku: Hey mister. Ai told me that you had something you wanted to tell him? He also says he's sorry for being busy. I'm his best friend, Suzuki Kohaku, by the way.

"Something that I wanted to tell him...? I'm sorry I've forgotten...", Eiji replied, rubbing the back of his head trying to recall just what he meant to relay to the other tengu..."Tell him not to overwork, just that.", the young man finally said."Oh right...Nice to meet you then, Suzuki-san... I'm Kurohane Eiji by the way...", Eiji introduced himself, in a lazy manner like usual.

Eiji: "Isn't it lonely? Staying here I mean"

Shion woke from his slumber at the sound of a stranger’s voice. He didn’t answer him right away, neither did he shift forms. He just took his sweet time processing the latter’s words as he yawned a good night’s (and the entire morning, actually) sleep away. From first glance, the guy looked pretty intimidating. Then again, anything looked intimidating to..well…a rock. “…Are you…talking to me?”   ( note: he’s still a rock right now. )

"Mm?… Yeah", the tengu folded his wings, remaining hidden on top of a nearby tree. Having that day free to do whatever he pleased, Eiji had decided to lurk around; finding the shrine that brimmed with a peculiar aura.

"….Why?" He almost shape-shifted to get a better look of him, only to think better of it. It wouldn’t be wise of him to let his guard them so soon, especially to this stranger. "Why don’t you come down from there? Unless…you’re just that afraid of an old rock." The second those words left his mouth, he instantly regretted it. ‘Oh man…was that a little too strong? Oh, no. What if I offended him? What if he decides to roll me down the hill into a river? Do rocks even float? What if I drown…what if I…’

"Quite a confident rock, aren't you?", Eiji snickered at the other's words, bringing his wings closer. "Coming down is a hassle that's all, but if you're going to be like that...", black feathers fell down of the tree as he made his way down; having transformed into his human-like persona. The wings now tucked in his back in the form of obsidian strings of ink decorating it.

"Better?", Eiji stood in front of the rock, brushing the bits of dirt that had gotten his clothes sullied.

Kyouya: *squints at Eiji like he's trying to decide something and clears his throat* Um. Excuse me.

Following the sound of a voice, Eiji looks around before landing his gaze upon the shorter man. “Is there something you need??”, he replied, trying not to be as blunt as ever.

'His house…? Does this boy have no sense of direction whatsoever…? Or did he just move here??', Eiji pondered, eyeing the other with curiosity. “The library?… That's three blocks away from here…”, the young man answered, stretching out his hand towards his right. ”Just keep going straight and at the third street turn right… you'll be able to see it easily”,

"Three blocks that way? I see." Kyouya nodded his head at the man politely, then went in the indicated direction.

After 10 minutes of walking and 20 minutes of confused wandering, Kyouya again bumped into a familiar presence- the man he had asked for directions earlier. “Oh. Hm. Hello.”

Finishing his morning shift, the young man had changed his clothes into a casual outfit. His back itched as ever, yet that was a feeling he had grown used to. Eiji bid formal goodbyes to his boss and a few colleagues as he headed out of the shop; the street bustling with crowds seeking a place to eat a snack. “Oh. Hm. Hello.”, the tengu looked around for the source of the voice, finding the other one near him yet once again. "Hello?? ....Wait, weren't you supposed to be home by now?", the young man inquired, confused by the human's presence.

"Lost?", the tengu repeated. "Where is it that you’re heading to?", Eiji asked, eyeing the young boy with curiosity before looking around him. ‘Just a human, huh?’, the young man said to his insides, allowing himself to lower his guard.

"Erm… my house?" Kyouya tilted his head at the tall man and looked at him, realizing that he probably had no idea where his house was. "Well, I guess to the…. library." It was close enough to his house that he should be able to get home from there.

Kyouya nods in response and fiddles with his scarf, glad that his face didn’t betray his embarrassment. How he managed to get lost on his way back from the market despite having been there several times was beyond him.

"Well, I’m a bit… lost. Do you think you could point me in the right direction?" He asked, his voice slightly apologetic.

The artificial beauty of the Tokyo bay had always intrigued the young tengu. He had seen two generations pass by, being witness to the major changes Japan went through. While a few decades back he had always stopped on his tracks to marvel at the city landscape, he was so used...

Nobu: "Well this is interesting! I haven't seen a tengu around these parts in awhile. Hello there, Tengu, I'm Nobu. It's a pleasure to meet you." Nobu chimed, holding his hand out to shake the others hand.

'Another one...? Or maybe not...', Eiji pondered, staring at the hand the suspicious individual had extended for the tengu to shake. "The name's Kurohane Eiji, not 'tengu'", the young man locked eyes with the other, his tone of voice coming out more hostile than usual."Yeah, nice to meet you...", he added, trying to brush of his rather rude behavior aside for at least once in his life.
