The 10th Kingdom is for fairytale fans, people with taste, and people with really messed up relationships with their mothers.
So I binged all of The 10th Kingdom in one sitting and thereās no doubt about it. I. AM. IN. LOOOOVE!
This art style got me OVERJOYED. abt to PRANCE.
Before Once Upon a Time, there was The 10th Kingdom.
"Twenty-five years later, the reigning question shouldnāt be what is The 10th Kingdom, but rather: Is it good? The answer is: No, not in the way the earlier seasons of Game of Thrones or The Witcher are. But the show feels goodāit feels like stepping back into a time when things were brighter, more colorful, and more whimsical, when media wasnāt afraid to be deeply unserious. It may not be good, but it is, in its own way, great, and certainly deeply deserving of all its loyal fansā reverence. What The 10th Kingdom did so well was extol the importance of joy and jest, even in the face of tragedy. Twenty-five years later, lovers of the series can continue to rejoice, reminisce, and await a maybe-never-coming sequel, knowing they were right all along. To all the haters, they say: Suck an elf."

(Big Bad) Wolf from the 10th Kingdom moodboard
This scene from the underrated miniseries The 10th Kingdom lives in my head rent-free
Broke: Wolf didnāt say anything when Virginia told him she loved him because he was feeling guilty and conflicted about the future ābetrayalā.
Woke: Wolf didnāt say anything when Virginia confessed to him because he spent his whole life being seen as a monster by everyone, heās only learned like 3 weeks ago that being in love and being hungry were not, in fact the same feeling, heās never been in a relationship before, and heās already messed things up with Virginia once. Dude just had no idea how to react to being told he was loved for the first time in his life, and he also was probably afraid of saying the wrong thing and ruining the moment.
Whoever was in charge of the costume department for The 10th Kingdom, I just want to say bless you and I hope you and your children have good health and happiness for 100 years because of your commitment to make Scott Cohen as hot and prince charming-coded as possible. Y'all fed us SO well.
