"Piece of cake!" Said the bunny, balancing on top of a staff, in the middle of an avalanche, being held up into the air by his quickly sinking friend.
Mike wobbled either which way the staff went, fighting to stay up right as he kept and eye on the cables. His ears peaked up and his whiskers quivered for a split second. Then he threw his paws into the air. His claws and fingers spread Ā out fully and he latched on to the cables.Ā
Quickly the rabbit squeezed his strong feet against the staff and yanked it up, hooking it into the loop of the cable as soon as he had it in sight he yanked at the cable and quickly grabbed the edge of the staff with his paws.
The big rabbit moved his feet to the cable and heaved backwards and pulled Chuck clean out of the moving rubble. Humans sure were heavier than dogs. Straining and shutting his eyes tightly, Mike grunted from the effort and the weight, huffing out of wide nostrils.
He quickly sucked in a breath and cracked his eyes open. āYou okay?ā He couldnāt really see the blond while half hanging half standing against the cable. He just knew that if anyone one of them let go they would fall back down again.
"Yeah, no thanks to you." Chuck replied, a few tinier bits of metal and screws falling off of him and into the junk pile below. Though, maybe he was a little grateful that he didn't have to dig himself out of the debris, despite how easy it would've been. "Do you mind telling me why you're here?" The fallen asked as he glared at the other. He was still considering passing this off as a hallucination.
