I think we all agree that sylus will absolutely love to push the doctor to his limits just to get a reaction out of him.
And it would be in the most silly yet absurd ways
It was 2:53am, zayne went to bed barely an hour ago due to his shift running late. The constant ringing of his phone was getting too much and he didn't want to disturb mc either. Groggily he picked up the phone and went out to the living room to handle it.
"Hey doc", sylus' voice came through, deep and slightly out of breath. That was odd, he is never that out of breath unless he was with mc doing..well-
"did something happen?", his professionalism came naturally upon hearing the difference in sylus' voice.
"well, i would ask what to do when you have 7 broken ribs,3 bleeding wounds and a burn down place but I think you need sleep doc."
Sylus, ever they coy guy with the habit of joking his way out of a serious situation, zayne knew he is bound to get white hair by the time he is 30 just because of this habit.
"come to my home right now", zayne commanded as he moved around his living room to gather his medical supplies. He knows that sylus can heal himself but the fact that he chose to address this to him meant that it was much more serious.
"well , i would but I'm not exactly in the right shape to let myself in, so would you mind opening the door, our dearest doc?" The knock soon followed on his main door and zayne rushed to open it.
Sylus tried to play it off, but the sight before him made him weak enough that his legs failed to support him. He stumbled lightly into zayne's arm, the comfort was immediate and so was his sense of pain that heightened even when he had already healed himself to almost fully. His concern warmed his heart, but also fueled a part of him that wanted to tease him about his concern.
From that day onward, zayne found himself getting calls from sylus rather frequently. His antics knew no bounds and honestly? Zayne wouldn't trade it for anything in the world even if it annoyed him when there were large bouquets in his office while he was off for lunch.
Mc and sylus would team up a lot more than often on him, saying that mission went wrong and there were seeing...orange?
When zayne showed up worried, he was met with the sight of both of them dressed as carrots, with carrot song playing on full blast and bags upon bags of carrots around them as they sang loudly.
Zayne was sure that it will be only a matter of months now before he starts matching with sylus.
