Castiel let out a heavy sigh, he knew that Lucifer wouldnât help angels and humankind so easily. âBecause youâre the only one who can stop her. âIâm guessing you mean Sam? Heâs not going to consent.â he searched Luciferâs eyes for a moment, making a decision. âBut perhaps if I was your host, it might change his mind. He has a soft spot for me, he trusts me.â Hayden expected to be knocked unconscious or killed any second now, but he didnât really care.
âOh of course not. Â BUT, one of the otherâs will when they hear that I can stop the darkness.â HE looked at the other, sure he was offering to be his host. A sudden flush of relief swept over him as the hand came down on his shoulder and that honestly worried him a bit. This guyâ this being was claiming to be Lucifer and here he was being all weak and vulnerable and Lucifer was comforting him. Swallowing hard, he turned to look up at the male and nodded as he listened, sighing softly. Well, this wasnât so bad. He was in Paris now as opposed to the city his live event had been in, but it was worth it. Heâd needed an escape before he met this guy, so it was perfect timing on his part. âSo.. I take it you feel like.. I do in a way..? I mean, thatâs what youâre sayinâ.. right? We relate in some ways..?â

Hearing the voice, his shoulders tensed, glancing over and glaring. âAt least Iâm not as insane as you are,â he grumbled under his breath, sighing as he stood upright. âAnd, I donât trust you, so I guess that doesnât help, either.â
He couldnât help the eye roll, nostrils flaring as he snorted with slight anger in his eyes. âYeah, good fucking advice on that one. You were so much help, you know. But, the jobâs finished, so I guess it wasnât for nothing, huh.â
He couldnât look at him, hands shoved deep in his pockets as he tried not to hurt him. He didnât feel like dealing with a pissed of archangel, especially when he was already in a bad mood.
Grinning, sure he was insane, hell he was fucking looney tunes. Â And none of that was ever going to change in his thoughts and opinions. Â âOF course you donât trust me, because you donât want to trust me. I get that.â
âThe job finished? Â You just sent a fucking wacky, crazy darkness out onto the world that will destroy it. Â Why do you think the Mark of Cain causes its users to go crazy and insane?â Lucifer let out a sarcastic laugh before throwing his hands up.
âI transferred that Mark to Cain because I didnât want to hold onto it anymore. Â It drove me to be thrown out of heaven because it drove me bat shit crazy. Â It did the same to Cain...and then the same to you.â
