Balthazar snorted then grumbled, moving to stand shakily moving to uncurl wings outstretched before her, before gasping at the aching pain. bringing him down in one knee. He quickly scanned himself, finding that most of the physical injuries were healed by his and her Grace. The loss of his wings though, were a terrible trauma to his True Form. He ached like he was missing limbs.
He wondered how she stood.
"...other than the wonderfully painful reminder of the loss of wings. Fine all things considering." He spoke, mumbling in silent frustration.
She had reached out a hand when he cried out, but pulled it back quickly. She hadn't tried to do anything with her wings, knowing they were gone. It felt like a missing piece of her soul, not having her wings.
From a more impersonal standpoint, it was a terrible loss to not have the teleportation abilities anymore. It would give them less of a shot at defeating anyone.
"Well, you'll just have to get over your pain. That can't matter right now. We are in the middle of nowhere, and we need to get out before something- or someone- finds us."
"Oh,…I just assumed that since you’re all here your powers were zapped out." That changed things quite a bit.
She waved a hand dismissively. “We shouldn’t talk about this anymore. Talking about it will only make bad things happen quicker.”
"Some things were. We still have certain powers, and they are not to be underestimated." She left out the fact that they were essentially human. Their powers were greater than the demons (she hoped), and that's what mattered.
"Surely you do not believe in such superstition? I do not see that we have mentioned specific names, and names are what hold power. Aside from that, it's just talk."

"The usurper. Wow.” That certainly was dramatic. “Maybe, for the normal people, you guys being down here is better. If Hell is….’unchecked’, and Angels are just running around, regular humans probably look pretty boring. You guys could be like a fun new game.”
"Yes, I had thought of that." Naomi had thought of everything. She knew for that the humans, the angels being here was better, but that didn't mean she liked it. "My dear, fallen as we are, we are still powerful. And Hell knows not to underestimate us. It is a very fragile situation."

He was alive. Everyone had said he was dead, but it appeared he was alive and well. Naomi was having trouble processing everything that was happening, it all came so fast. This was some kind of last straw.
She just sort of gave up trying to figure out what the hell was happening and rubbed her temples in frustration. Balthazar was not an angel she had associated with out of choice. She had tried to tolerate him, but he was exceptionally aggravating.
It appeared he hadn't changed a bit.
"Balthazar. Now is not the time for your jokes. This is serious, and I ask that you act like it. Now, what is your condition?"
"No, I am not. My home is called Asgard, if you’re familiar."
"Yes, I am familiar with your realm. You are blessed to come from such a wonderful place."
Out of all the situations, Krissy had to get herself into this one. It was just typical of her. She swung on her heel for a moment before opening her mouth to say something in her defensive, closing it just as quickly “You don’t say.” Was her smart ass answer, yet she wasn’t in the position to sprout them— Doesn’t mean she wouldn’t do it.
Naomi wanted to smile, but forced her face into a stern expression. "Don't you go running your mouth at me, young lady. I could get you in a lot of trouble." At least she was witty, if nothing else. "Besides, if you're going to break and enter, at least make up a plausible story as to why you're here, or don't get caught. And certainly don't mouth off to someone who might own the house."
