Seasons: Winter (3/?)
Winter, a lingering season, is a time to gather golden moments, embark upon a sentimental journey, and enjoy every idle hour.
Seasons: Winter - Let It Snow
Snowfall rouses your inner child to dream and play once more.
Holidays: Christmas in Brown
Pine trees with low limbs spread over fresh snow made a stronger vault for the spirit than pews and pulpits ever could.
Holidays: Vintage Christmas
For Christmas is tradition time—
Traditions that recall
The precious memories down the years,
The sameness of them all.
Movies: A Christmas Story (1983)
Books Bonus: In God We Trust: All Others Pay Cash by Jean Shepherd (1966)
In the heat of battle, my father wove a tapestry of obscenity, that as far as we know is still hanging in space over Lake Michigan.
Flowers: Marigolds (2/?)
Youth! Youth! How buoyant are thy hopes! They turn, like marigolds, toward the sunny side.
A new board for an already fulfilled request for @ohnonotsatan
Spring Flowers
It is spring again. The earth is like a child that knows poems by heart.
Holidays: Holi (Festival of Colors and Spring)
No religion makes more use of color than Hinduism, with its blue-skinned gods and peony-lipped goddesses, and even the spring festival of Holi is focused on color: Boys squirt arcs of dyed water on passersby or dump powder, all violently hued, on their marks.
Places - National Parks (7/63): Mt. Rainer, Washington
In the deep forests of Mount Rainier, the sun doesn’t rise, it leaks in thin bands through the trees.
Places - National Parks (6/63): Mammoth Cave, Kentucky
If future generations are to remember us with gratitude rather than contempt, we must leave them something more than the miracles of technology. We must leave them a glimpse of the world as it was in the beginning, not just after we got through with it.
Places - National Parks (5/63): Grand Canyon, Arizona
It is a vast wilderness of rocks in a sea of light, colored and glowing like oak and maple woods in autumn, when the sun gold is richest.
iphone3gs moodboard i love iphones
Moodboard for the iPhone 3G can be found here
Although there is probably an accidental mix of that release into he board and not all the actual 3GS, it is at least an early Gen iPhone.
While I'll agree the original iPhone was a game changer, I'm personally not a fan of any Apple tech. I had the LG enV and Motorola Droid at the time the 3G was out!
Objects: iPhone 3G
The iPhone you have been waiting for.

Animals: Jellyfish
A jellyfish, if you watch it long enough, begins to look like a heart beating.
Places - National Parks (4/63): Everglades, Florida
The miracle of the light pours over the green and brown expanse of saw grass and of water, shining and slow-moving below, the grass and water that is the meaning and the central fact of the Everglades of Florida. It is a river of grass.
Places - National Parks (3/63): Crater Lake, Oregon
Never again can I gaze upon the beauty spots of the earth and enjoy them as being the finest thing I have ever seen. Crater Lake is far above them all.
Theme: Day at the Aquarium
This was actually so soothing to look at images for. I hope you like it!
