It’s been a while since I came back to this site and this topic. I honestly haven’t been watching many of Jack’s vids either. I gotta know though, is he still doing ego content?

I watch a video now and then and sometimes there’s glitches sometimes there creepy instances, but I feel like he has just ingrained them into his channel outside of the egos. I just miss the ego content a lot and I feel like the story never got an ending or that big reveal we were waiting for so long ago.

If he has moved on that’s fine too. If he’s doing his thing and happy doing it I am all for it, but I wanted to reach out before I forget about it for another 2 years or so. Ego content used to be a big hyper focus for me and I have such awesome memories from it, but I hope we get to see some more story telling soon. Hope everyone has been safe and sound in these trying times these past few years and I hope to hear back from someone in these tags. Thanks for reading :)

I know this was a joke post and all but may I point something really cool out?

When egos were beginning to get popular we were all unsure of who was an ego and who wasn’t. To me Marvin was an ego like Robbie the zombie. I felt like he was acknowledged, but I didn’t think anything was going to be done with him. However, this proves that something will happen. It’d be different if he just still had the mask, but the fact he put in the time to make a replacement one means that we will hear more from Marvin in this story that’s unfolding.

Idk I just thought that was pretty neat and I happy to know he’s apart of this as small of a character he was.

Is now a bad time to mention I actually don’t hate this site? I hate the owners. Hate the staff. Hate the incompetence of whoever is in charge here.

But I love the site, love the format, love my mutuals, my followers and all of the amazing content creators here. I don’t know what I’ll replace this with if anything.

Please stop with the hate

Look I get that people who love the ego content can be a little annoying. However, after all the shit that’s been going on, how can you blame us for being a bit suspicious? It is really unfair and uncool of others to bring us down because we freak out over the clues and stuff. Could it all be nothing? Yes, it could 100% all be coincidence and we could be grabbing at straws. Then again is there a chance that we are on to something? Yeah that’s possible too. This is all a game that we, the theorists and ego lovers, enjoy playing with Seán, and he enjoys it as well. For anybody to say “shut up about it” or “stop bringing it up”, it is very rude to invalidate someone else’s fun because they seem annoying. Especially when you put it in the ego tags. This community is about building each other up and supporting others in this family, not tearing them down because of difference of opinions.

Here’s a bit of perspective for those who don’t get why we get excited over small shit. Anti was built on small shit. Tiny little secrets that even Seán himself has said “you haven’t found everything yet”. So when little bits of clues come in we take them. It’s like “you’re gonna get a surprise cake in a few days, but you only get this itty bit of frosting to taste right now in order to guess what kind of cake it is”. Obviously for those who hate cake it would be underwhelming and mundane, but for a baker or sugar addict it is super exciting and you just can’t wait to get another taste and the big reveal.

I am not saying that you have to love the theorists, or even that you have to love the ego content. I’m saying let them eat cake. Let them/us be giddy over little ego hints and jokes. If you don’t like it, don’t go into the ego tags and especially don’t hate on those in the ego tags. We are all here to have fun. Sorry to ramble, but just seen one too many hateful posts on the tags and needed to say something.

I started ignoring posts like that, but it really does hurt seeing them EVERY SINGLE TIME Jack starts doing stuff. Like we’ve had so many hints/unexplained glitches in the past few months, of COURSE we’re gonna be super suspicious of everything! We’re waiting to see what this all leads up to!

Just let us have our fun. Jack already said he doesn’t mind us getting a little overexcited, if that’s the worst part of the community then we have a great community bc it’s pretty much the only problem we would have, and it’s a miniscule one. He’s a grown man, too, and he can handle us speculating stuff. It’s not gonna prevent him from wearing/doing certain things or “scare him away” from doing Ego stuff.

Please, if we get excited, let us enjoy our excitement. Let us be excited. Just leave us be to enjoy the fun, even if we’re just making our own fun at the end of the day.

Might I propose a middle ground? Bc I KNOW there’s gonna be some assholes who keep being assholes. You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink.

How about y'all make a TAG that you start putting on posts involving the current ego debate or w/e? I would propose #ThankmasEgos or smthing to that extent. That way y'all can continue to make your inferences, and people who don’t want to see it, both the rude and the polite, can blacklist that tag.

Everyone is happy, and if people CONTINUE to bitch about it, it ain’t anyones but the ones who are bitching’s own damn fault and we know who not to interact with anymore.

The thing is we have been posting on ego tags like #antisepticeye and #chasebrody and EGO tags. I understand saying something when things are cluttered in the #Thankmas or even #jacksepticeye because those aren’t direct ego tags. What I’m upset about is seeing multiple hateful posts on the EGO tags. There were a whole bunch the other day on the antisepticeye tag. I look through the ego tags to see ego content, not people complaining about ego content.

I do agree however that ego related things should for the most part stay within the tags made for egos so that those who dislike it don’t have to see it. All I was putting out was that it isn’t cool to fill a tag with hate for that tag.

And I totally agree, I may have missunderstood some of what you said. I sometimes skip over things bc large walls of text are hard to read for me. I apologise!

But considering a lot of people like to go into the ego tags for art and fanfic, too. I still think a custom tag might make everyone’s lives easier bc THAT way no one has to blacklist the ego tags, just that tag.

You’re good! Was just trying to make it more clear what I was upset about :) because I get there are gonna be people who dislike ego stuff. I just don’t like having to see “shut up about it” when I’m there for theories and clues that I may have missed. Glitched audio

Haven’t seen anyone post about this yet, but idk if it’s just the tag is broken on my device or what. Anyways at 8:50 of the “THIS GAME SCARED THE **** OUT OF ME | Watson Scott Test - Part 1″ Sean says “It’s like Simulacra all over again!” and then the “Fuck you” was glitched. At first, I thought it was just the game over his audio, but I have played it about 50 times now, and I am 99.9999% sure it is his audio. Also just wanted to say I love this subtle glitches :) makes you really pay attention haha!

I really hope there’s a pumpkin carving video this year...

Not only because Anti and shit, but it has been a tradition for the past three years now. Like I don’t care if there is lore or anything in the video. I just want a pumpkin carving video to keep with the channel tradition :) I know Seán doesn’t have a lot of time to prepare videos before tour, but i really hope he takes the time to carve a good ole pumpkin even if that means theres a lack of gaming videos a couple weeks or so. With that said  I don’t want to put any pressure or expectations upon him, but I just thought it was super cool how last year he was like “aw sorry I didn’t have time for a spooky video” but surprised us anyways with JJ. And his explanation of the video on twitter was “well it is tradition.” 

So again, no pressure Seán. I know that you’re just getting home and that you have to prepare for tour, and a billion of things we probably don’t see. I just wanted to share how much the pumpkin caving videos means to me even without the ego lore :) Ego lore is great of course, but I would be equally as happy if it was just a chill pumpkin carving video even if others believe that kind of video isn’t possible now haha. Happy Birthday Anti

As much anxiety and stress you bring us, we love you. But for real Anti was a huge part of my life even before this very day 2 years ago. I can’t believe he’s come to life and has given this community a huge thing to bond over :) so for the Glitch Bitch Turtle we all love happy birthday.
