I still didn’t like GO3, but I’m choosing to be happy. I’m still disappointed and sad about the finale, but one thing I learned from Aziraphale and Crowley is that I have imagination and I have a choice. I can choose to focus on the stories and moments that bring me joy instead.

Current obsession: Well I'm currently in the middle of packing to move house, so that's occupying a huge mental load, but in my limited downtime, the Good Omens fic I'm writing for the Summer Omens Big Bang is definitely an obsession, especially as the artists I'm working with are just blowing my mind on a daily basis.

Currently reading: I recently finished a re-read of The Trouble with Being a Demon by @verdantvulpus (highly rec to anyone and everyone -- one of my all-time faves) but I also got curious to re-read a fic from my Mighty Boosh fandom days called Stockholm Syndrome so that's downloaded for me to peruse whenever time is more kind to me 😂

Currently working on: My @gosummerbang fic which should be ready to start posting in around a week or so and I have started outlining a plot that I started after Good Omens S2 aired, which was my attempt at writing S3 but lost confidence with but now I am quite keen to pick it up as catharsis.

I have a few fics in outline for my @fandomtrumpshate auction winners.

I'm currently beta-ing for @fallenwithoutgrace's #gosummerbang fic, and @mirjam-writes and @slytherat #IPB2026 fics.

I'm currently working on Chapter 16 of my Sex Worker Crowley/Client Aziraphale slow-burn fic "Foolish Behavior (Seems Right)" which is currently over 110k words.

Speaking of which, I'm also working with over a dozen INCREDIBLY talented artists who are doing commissions for Foolish Behavior.

And then outside of fandom, I am helping my dad to edit and publish his "Storyworth" which is essentially a memoir and is hilarious and sad and poignant and wonderful.

Don’t get me wrong, I kind of grew fond of the hand kiss gesture. But in the Bookshop Garden, when they had privacy - probably for the first time ever - I really grieve a heartfelt conversation; about the things they did wrong, about their affection, about their options. About the reasons why they decided to choose humanity over their own happiness *sigh*

So I chose to give them this hug. We all need this. I will continue drawing moments like this ♥️😭

Surprising that the under 19s in the survey are much more negative than in the tumblr poll. I wonder if the teenagers who hated it were much more likely to click on the survey than those who clicked 'like' on Tumblr poll? The most interesting finding:

Character identification (no of responses) Positive vs Negative opinion on GO3 Aziraphale (209) 23.0% vs 61.7% Both equally (173) 20.8% vs 60.7% Crowley (151) 15.2% vs 68.2%

Those who identify with Crowley more, have hated the finale just that bit more.

Ending 504 fans (85.0%) wanted Aziraphale and Crowley together on Earth as they were. 51 fans (8.6%) were happy with the ending they got.

Conclusion (mine) - I don't think age plays much real difference.

Opinion (also mine) - Like the polls from May you can find here and here and here for example, the 'divide' is about 1/3 vs 2/3rds of people who liked the finale/ending vs who did not.

Mistakes - (definitely mine)

P.S. I shared these polls across platforms and both from about 200 votes were pretty stable. So after the people who follow me (and are more likely to dislike the finale/love Aziraphale), when the polls got wider audience, the numbers stabilised and didn't change more by more than a few percent points (3 at most I think).
