So this is intended to be a lot longer. Actually, it was, but iPads are hungry creatures who like to eat pages worth of pure keysmashing emotions. So here it is, this is the bare bones of what I need to say and of everything I've felt about this rp and the people here.
It's oddly heartbreaking, isn't it? I can see how everyone's feeling and definitely how I'm actually crying buckets myself, but just remember, this is not the end. Far from it. Try to look away from the characters and stories we're leaving behind and realize how much potential we have as a group. For making new ships and friendships and enemies, maybe helping our characters find their happy ending, even if they have to rise from the dead a few times first. And also realize all the potential we've already fufilled within this amazing group of people rping here. PUD is my family, in the truest sense of the word. I have never met, in real life, or online, so many people who have cared so much in so many ways. You all have made me laugh, cry, and feel like I actually was worth something when I was at my lowest points. You haven't saved my life, but you have saved me. This group has given me so much hope and so many reasons to see the good this past year or so, and I've seen you all supporting each other when things get rough and when real life deals us hard blows. But we always recover, we always bounce back.
Alby and Rom, you two have laid down the floorboards for the most inclusive, warm, and welcoming environment I've ever encountered. Everyone in PUD cares for each other. We care for Rom, even when she makes us cry with her insane fetish for killing likable characters. We care for Alby with her silent dedication to us and the group, and Alby, it is noticed, and it appreciated. We love you so much, Mumma. Emma 2x, Livi, Lit, Miq, Sop, Crissie, Ciarabby, every single one of you is perfect. From the Emma's different brands of snark, to Mike's cheerful support and extremely lickable back, to Ellie's unbelievable and inspiring enthusiasm, to Lit and Crissie and Livi, whose writing styles I have always admired and who are two people I honestly admire in themselves. And Ciara. Ciara, a sentence gives you no justice for everything you've done for me. You will never loose me, I will never allow that. Our tugboat sails on. There are others in this family I haven't mentioned, but I do care about you all too, and I hope everyone one returning to PUD can just look around the chatroom and realize there is nothing to mourn. Nothing has died and our ohana is still going strong!
And as we all know, ohana means family, and family means no one gets left behind.
