please tell me you aren't going to roleplay r/pe and pedophillia on this blog because your rules sure do insist you will, regardless of being a survivor or not (as i'm a csa victim myself) you should understand its extremely harmful to write these subjects publically. it runs the risk of harming other survivors.

my rules absolutely do not say anything of the sort, and the content of this blog will never include in-character writings with those topics. due to the nature and story involvement of Kamoshida’s character, they will be mentioned from time to time, but i have never, and will never, write anything like that. my rules are simply stating that these topics will be present in passing, and tagged accordingly.

a figure that had once stood tall and imposing, towering over the boy before him in haughtiness and judgment, now seems to practically tremble in his presence. long fingers grip at the bend of his knees, knuckles paling from the strain. his eyes have long since stopped seeing the polished wooden floors beneath him, even through the tears that fell and dried on his cheeks; his mind’s locked up, so tucked away within itself that he doesn’t register Akira’s presence until he speaks. ❛ does it matter? ❜ the emptiness in his voice echoes through his bones; muscles and tendons alike have been forcibly carved through to hollow out a ribcage that now houses and protects... what? whatever shoddy excuse for a heart he has serves its purpose, continues to circulate blood through a body that no longer has the will to move -- every step feels like a trying feat, every breath a painful exertion -- but his figurative heart, his purpose, is long gone, stolen away from within. it’s left him with nothing. I cannot thank you enough for making this blog. A lot of people are hesitant to even touch characters that go the lengths that someone like Kamoshida has. Which is a shame, because he was one of the villains I felt most strongly about, even in a purely negative way. It's good to know someone's willing to give him a run.

oh man, i totally feel you! i mean, admittedly, i’ve only just finished the second palace in my file, but Kamoshida was vastly more interesting than Madarame to me, and i imagine it’ll be the same for whoever’s next. it’s rare to see villains written as villains rather than some kinda half-assed attempt at an antagonist worthy of the audience’s pity. did we see bits and pieces of the driving force behind Kamoshida’s actions? yes. did they show some of the insecurities and anger that lay beneath his showy front? yes. did they try to make excuses for what he does? absolutely not, and i loved that. he’s so deliciously evil and complex and he fulfills a villain’s purpose -- to make you hate them with every fiber of your being and cheer on your protagonist even more.

oh, it’ll come. i’ve written some grade-a assholes in my time and received hate on a weekly basis, but i can safely say that kamoshida might be the worst of ‘em... so i’m fully expecting some eventual backlash from the community. i don’t mind, though; if they can’t understand that appreciating a character and condoning their actions are two different things, that’s not my problem. :^)
