I think it’s worth mentioning that this isn’t the first time Colin Farrell and Johnny Depp have played the same character. Heath Ledger’s final film, The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, lost him before the movie was half done, so they called on Johnny Depp, Jude Law, and Colin Farrell to fill the role as they went through the story. Since it uses a magic mirror that transports the user to different worlds, each world used a different actor. Heath Leger was the “real world” version of the character. And in that movie, Johnny Depp came BEFORE Farrell, so…this is sort of a reversal of it. Though I THINK Jude Law was between them in order of appearance, but it’s been a while since I’ve seen the movie.

I don’t know if you get the point of this but many of us are disappointed he is part of the cast after beating his wife in a story such as Harry Potter which starts with a child being forced to live under the stairs…it makes people uncomfortable. Your film was pre abuse claims so nobody cared about that then.

First off, I’ve already commented on that in a post some time PRIOR to this one. I was trying to give a little fun trivia. But here’s the main thing that needs to be said: Everyone who knew them said SHE was the aggressive one. After doing some actual digging, instead of just following the beliefs of the masses, the evidence DOES point to her either lying about it, or even being the abuser. But you know…Everyone thinks men are the only REAL abusers in the world, so of course everyone is going to take her side. Don’t get me wrong. I realize I could be wrong, but I’ve gone past all the Buzzfeed-style, blindly man-hating bullshit and looked into the actual case, and the things people who know them have said and seen. It doesn’t add up to suit her story. I’m someone who relies on evidence over anything else, and the evidence just isn’t there.

Nah, it’s not an argument with me. I am EXTREMELY anti-abuse, and I completely understand and accept people who think she was being honest, but I personally think she was the abusive one. I trust people who know them, as well as a lot of the evidence that didn’t help her. Things went TOO quickly, and a settlement was reached WAY too fast for me to think that she was actually abused. I’ve seen it happen before, where a woman will inflict bruises on themselves and make it look like their husband abused them because they know they’ll get away with it. It’s not something that only happens in movies. We bruise easier than men generally, so you don’t have to go too hard to make it look bad. From my point of view, it just seems like she set everything up. If she were really being abused, she’d have gone to the end to make sure he got what he deserved, rather than taking a simple settlement. But, again, I think people who see her as the honest one are valid too. I disagree, but oh well.

What I WILL 100% agree on though is he shouldn’t be Grindlewald…Like he’s supposed to be in his 30s, not 50s. And he should look less bleached and weird. Like, he can look creepy, but I do hate the choices they’ve made. Not NEARLY enough to avoid seeing the movie, but enough to be annoyed and wish for something better.

I’m not going to comment about the role, because honestly, I want to watch the next movie first before judging. I’m going to react about the abuse, instead.

Tbh, I don’t believe Amber Heard too. I’m on the neutral side of things. She’s a woman, yes. If she was abused, I feel bad for her and Depp needs to recieve worse than what he got, sure.

But I also just want anyone to consider the things I’m about to say:

Most of Depp’s past partners said that Johnny Depp is a very loving man and he never abused any of them. And then Amber comes along and suddenly he abuses her?

You see, I have a friend, a girl. And I know it’s not my story, but she abused her boyfriend, to the point where her boyfriend started fighting back. I’m not saying they have the same relationship, alright? But tbh, my friend could easily spin the story to her favor. And I know, sometimes, she did. I know her. But he’s my friend too. So I tried to know both of their sides, because a story can be told a thousand times, depending on people’s perspectives.

Just because we heard a woman’s story means it’s true. Women can be manipulative too. So I’m sorry if I have my doubts and don’t just believe what someone said, because pity is our weakness. And most of the time, other people use it to our own advantage.

I don’t pity Depp too. I just think we should consider everyone’s sides.

Okay, so I’ve been away for a week or something because, well, i needed to be. I needed some time alone because it was an overwhelming week. I had my exams and I was really stressing myself out. So I’m really sorry. And I’m sorry for my inconsistency in drawing. I’m still learning. 

Anyway, since prejudice will always be there, I decided to draw something about it. And since Harry has been famous before and after he defeated little old voldiefart, I think he became so good at handling it. And since Draco Malfoy, after Harry being able to see the good in him, decided that Harry Potter is too good for this world and he doesn’t deserve any of these shit people are throwing at him, Pansy.
