my stupids,,, likely my only contribution to mtt week + it includes fenrir (cross) im a fake fan ik </3 he lost horribly though so i hope it evens out lmao

for the alt prompt game !!

rot is NOT a gamer so he never wins. fenrir on the other hand. is the resident gamer and has 100% completed a bunch of games (for fun. for me. any cross i make will be a gamer. fenrir is no exception)

decay has volcanic red, rot has midnight black, trickshot's isnt shown but he has chroma pearl(heavily stained black), and fenrir has the limited edition god of war ragnarök (i couldn't NOT give him it y'know ???)

I wished they named Slasher's real name Davie instead of Jason

I want to put this idea out there for all those people that want to keep both Jason and Slasher in their AUs and not get confused with their real names. As well as to stop people from having the same conversation of “that’s not Jason, that’s slasher” when someone tries to use Slasher’s real name.

Let me explain here- I understand the reason they named his real name Jason cause he was his predecessor and acted as a homage and that Slasher only exists due to Friday the 13th copyright reasons BUT Slasher himself as a character separate from Jason has such a fun and unique concept!!! --- (Skip if you don't want to read me glazing Slasher) ---

1) The fact that he was a prisoner of war then was a lab experiment finally tied that Area 51 storyline well into his background! As apparently Jason in Forsaken is the same one from his movie franchise and was captured and housed in Area 51 most likely after the ‘Freddy VS Jason’ movie which could work as the next progression in his timeline as ‘Jason X’ had him captured by the government to cryo freeze. Yet why didn't Jason try to escape from Area 51 where he doesn't know if his mother's corpse is safe? Why did he stay?? 2) HE'S LINK WITH GUEST 1337 FINALLY MAKES SENSE!!! (I don’t think I ever understood why Jason and Guest1337 were paired together? Nothing in Jason's background seems to link too closely to anything Guest is, is it something from Guest's lore something with Area 51?) He was originally from the same universe and his entire character serves sort of like a foil’s to Guest’s. The fandom I feel also doesn’t highlight enough of Slasher’s Project 13 background or the Necrobloxicon as it makes such good ground work for angst. 3) Great design, I honestly love Slasher's whole look. I like the reinterpretation of the hockey mask where the stitches could be a reference to his undead nature like Jason, the red from jason's mask used well, the grate mouth is something F13 fans have drawn him with before. The Necrobloxicon in his shoulder being why he hears his mother, Jason also had his own necronomicon in part 9 in ‘Jason Goes To Hell’. The bag head under the mask to cover his bacon hair reminds me of Jason’s look in Part 2 (he looks very cute with the bag imo)

---------------------------------------------------------------- SO WITH ALL OF THAT- I feel like Slasher works well as a separate character from Jason that still has part of him so it's almost like a de-service reducing him to JUST "Jason's replacement" or "Jason's copycat" :{

This is Davie Falkner from the Friday the 13th comic book "How I Spent My Summer Vacation" ^^:

This is young Slasher ^^:

LOOK AT THEM. IS DAVIE NOT YOUNG SLASHER???

Davie's story is that he suffers from a medical condition known as craniodiaphyseal dysplasia that deforms his skull which is something he's bullied for during camp. Which is very very similar to both Jason and Slasher's backstory. This is also the reason why Jason spared him when he went killing the member of the camp like he does ^^ and lets Davie stay with him for 9 days where Davie started to look up to him and idolise him (which uhmm not very good.. but anyways) thinking that Jason was in the right to kill and only kills people who deserves them. So by naming Slasher Davie instead of Jason lets him stand as his own character but still links him to Jason for people in the know!

Additionally for his last name there’s 3 good contenders: 1) Keep Voorhees 2) Keep Falkner 3) Burns (From Roy Burns from Friday the 13th: A New Beginning)

They seemed fine renaming Pamela to Paula for Slasher’s mom, so why not Davie for Slasher?

It's not even just everything I talked about but the name Davie fits so well story wise for Slasher too.

A couple of people on the original and the following Foresaken Update tweet is saying that the name Davie isn't "scary" or "intimidating" enough compared to Jason however I would like to say that the name Jason isn't scary, it's the person that name is attached to that gives it it's intimation factor. The name Jason is very common but it's horror has been around for 46 years which is why someone might find it scary due to it's long standing association.

I do think that the name Davie does carry some sort of innocence to it and thematically I think it fits great.

As unlike Jason, you aren't supposed to refer to Slasher by his name. Jason was convinced by his mother voice and fueled by vengeance and anger to become the killer he is today. While Slasher had the mask, both literally and metaphorically, forced upon him. After Davie's death he was tortured and manipulated where his name and who he was as a person was irrelevant and then lost.

Davie died on the battlefield and in his place only The Slasher remained.
