Recently, I purchased the Hori Overdrive Steering Wheel & Pedals from Vinted and when it was delivered, despite Google AI telling me that “Steering Mode” was incompatible with Mafia: Definitive Edition, it actually works…I even spent 2 hours, having the time of my life, driving around Lost Heaven in Free Ride Mode! I wonder if it also works with games like the GTA Trilogy…as it’s currently on sale on the Microsoft Store, I might just have to find out. 🤔
With less than a month to go, I figured I’d get into creative mode to do at least one more project before Duskfade’s release on August 13th…thankfully, there was something new I could recreate…I couldn’t resist…I am beyond amazed at how it turned out 🤩😍🥰
With my new console, the Xbox Series S, being delivered today, as I worked on getting apps and games reinstalled, I needed something new to “christen” my electronic baby, until I realised that I could now experience the Duskfade Demo…I’ve spent the past 2 hours doing so, and I even beat the 1st of potentially many bosses, Wrath, in a few attempts…this game is truly breathtaking in every way…I even took exactly 35 screenshots…I just couldn’t resist 😁. Now that I’ve had a sample of what the game is like, I’m more excited than ever for its full release!

I just logged on to start my 2nd playthrough of Ripto’s Rage and, for some reason, I had to accept to a licence agreement to discover that not only is my 2nd game slot erased but my 1st playthrough is completely gone!
Is this because I used cheat codes for my 2nd playthrough? How the fuck do I fix this?! 😱😩
With my sister visiting for Father’s Day, while on my 2nd Spyro playthrough, she told me about the cheat codes she’d used for her own playthrough, so I naturally activated the 99 Lives code first as well as messing around with the numerous Colour Changing codes…let’s just say there wasn’t a dry eye in the room…surprisingly after just 14 hours of gameplay, Spyro The Dragon is 100% complete, beating my record for sure 🤯😅
After completing the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, I remembered I had “Tell Me Why” in my game library since last June, so I finally gave it a chance and didn’t realise how immersed I became in Tyler & Alyson’s story, especially as I was trying so hard to make the right choices, in order to strengthen their bond, while collecting all 13 figurines…out of the 50+ screenshots I took, I had to highlight how visually stunning the game is…a true masterpiece deserving of the positivity it’s received.
After another 4 days of determined gameplay, Spyro: Year Of The Dragon 🐉 is complete, with all 150 eggs 🥚 found and all 15,000 gems 💎 claimed from Moneybags. I gotta say that it was nice to having the Diving, Climbing and Headbashing abilities learned in Ripto’s Rage in this game. I’m both surprised and proud of myself with how far I’d come with the entire Spyro Reignited Trilogy, completing all 3 games in just 18 days.
Onto the next gaming adventure until Duskfade’s release in just over 60 days time 🎮 !
After another 9 days of dedicated gameplay, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage is 100% complete…I won’t lie, there were moments where my heart raced, especially the Speedway courses and the Boss battles with Ripto himself and his minions, Crush and Gulp…nonetheless, it was nice to take a breather at the mini fairground in Dragon Shores as a reward for not losing my nerve 🙄☺️😆
Who else watched the Future Games Show livestream on YouTube/Steam last night? While I was gaming with my nephew, I eagerly awaited for the Duskfade official trailer but for some reason, there was no announcement from the hosts when the time came…the trailer literally came out of nowhere but nonetheless, I am beyond thrilled that it’s official release is 10 weeks away!! 🤩🎮
Who is beyond excited for the Future Games Show livestream tonight?! With a supply of snacks at the ready, I’ll definitely be tuning into the event on YouTube @ 8pm to find out when Duskfade’s release date is…with the slightly devastating news that Fable’s release has been delayed until next year, I’m remaining as hopeful as ever. 🤩🤞🎮
While I spend a few weeks saving up to upgrade my Xbox console, I figured I’d do something about the “gamers block” I’ve been experiencing lately…being a picky player, I browsed the app store and stumbled across Spyro: Reignited Trilogy…as I’d had fond memories of me and my sister playing this game, I thought I’d re-experience it for myself. 5 days in, the 1st game is 120% complete. I may have been faced with a couple of glitches but I’m glad I made it this far. 😅
Who else is planning to tune in to the Future Games Show: Summer Showcase livestream on June 6th, to finally find out the official release date for Duskfade…I certainly can’t wait…the livestream is only 9 days away! 🤩🎧🎮
After Rose In Chains, I browsed my bookshelf and discovered something I’ve had since last year: Tinker Bell, An Enchanters Tale…after 12 hours of nonstop reading time, simultaneously listening to Tinker Bell ambience on loop mode, with 31 relatively short chapters, plus an Prologue & Epilogue…it definitely had some fun surprises in store and had me crying near the end, but it was worth the experience. 🧚
After almost week of dedicated reading time, I’ve finished Rose In Chains by Julie Soto for the first time and it’s safe to say that I was fully immersed from Chapter One onwards…feeling blissfully satisfied by the story so far, given its only book 1 of the Evermore trilogy, I just had to get into creative mode to recreate Briony & Toven from the front cover to the best of my ability.
While awaiting book 2, “Vine Of Hearts”, which will either be releasing this November or January 2027, I’ll definitely be giving Rose In Chains another read in the future ☺️🥰🥵
Recently, I found this in my local supermarket and decided to give it a read. A couple of days later, I’ve reached part 2 and it’s definitely safe to say that even after such a short time, every time I finish a chapter, I’m always eager to start the next.
I don’t know if it’s just me but while Toven Hearst and Briony Rosewood may have “Dramione” vibes, somehow I also sense a bit of Sylus and MC from Love & Deepspace. I also noticed that around Chapter 16, it reminded me of Disney’s Beauty & The Beast, particularly where Beast shows Belle to her room in the East Wing after she becomes his prisoner…if you’ve seen the film/read Rose In Chains, you’ll know what I mean 🤔🥰💜
