I hate AC. I hate it. Mom cranks it every summer so it feels like winter in here which ends up drying out the whole house, which makes my allergies and eczema way worse. This is annoying. 😭 Mom has the "Well if I'm comfortable then it doesn't matter" attitude though so I kinda have to leave it on. But fuck me, I am so comfortable!!!!!

on a more serious note, knowing the context behind that song, and trent's emotional journey to that point, it will never not be his song to me, it just feels so deeply personal. i cry every time cuz i feel like im just pulled into that emotional state with him, reflecting on my own pain, sharing it in a sense. actually, i get really protective of that song. i dont like hearing other people sing it, bringing it up outside of a maybe a brief joke, or really even listening to it in general outside of a quiet and private setting. even before i was a nin fan, i still had a connection to that song. it's really that powerful, i guess. maybe it's my way of honoring it, showing it respect.
