The Nurse
Request: Anon: reader had been a nurse in the war and now they offer their healing services to gangsters so families aren’t losing their men to street violence but everyone knows the reader is neutral and Alfie is protective of them and pretty much in love with them.
“He’s coming in again today, isn’t he?”
You kept your eyes fixed on the book you were reading– in fact, it had been a gift from the very man your friend was referring to.
“I don’t know when Mr. Solomons is going to visit our centre until the moment he walks through the doors, Anne,” you hummed in response to your friend’s question.
Anne rolled her eyes before inching closer to you and closing your book. You looked up at her with a frown, “What?”
“Don’t give me that look! This place might be full of injured gangsters, but we both know a man like Alfred Solomons– a man of that sort of standing– wouldn’t think to come here even if he was just about ready to die. He’s too proud.”
You set the book down on the counter, “I don’t know what you’re implying, Anne.”
She scoffed, “Like hell you don’t. He must really like you if he comes all the way into this part of town just to see you, Y/N, because he’s definitely not coming in to get his wounds treated.”
“Everyone knows a good boss checks up on his workers,” you jumped slightly at the deep voice joining the conversation. You hadn’t even noticed the door open during your conversation and you felt instantly giddy at the sight of Alfie, “And seeing as you’re treating nearly half my men in here I thought I’d pay them a visit,” Alfie stopped and turned to look at you, “Though to be fair, I would use any old excuse to see Nurse Y/N over here,” he winked at you.
The heat rose in your cheeks in response while Alfie flashed you a quick grin. Anne only gave you a knowing look before excusing herself.
As soon as she was out of earshot, Alfie stepped towards you, “How’ve you been, love?”
Your heart quickened slightly at his words. “Since you saw me yesterday?” You raised an eyebrow in amusement when you realised he was genuinely asking, “I’ve been quite well thank you, Alfie.”
“Good, good. I’m glad,” he mumbled to himself, gently brushing away a strand of hair from your face. You couldn’t hide the grin that escaped your lips at his gesture. Your encounters with Alfie often went like this– he seemed to have a knack for sending your heart rate into a frenzy the moment you saw laid eyes on him. You had rather hoped that after all this time, you would’ve become used to Alfie being his usual self with you. But needless to say that even a lingering glance left your cheeks rising in heat.
You snapped out of your reverie, clearing your throat, “Shall I take you in to see the boys then?”
Alfie looked puzzled for a moment, “What? Oh– yeah, yeah let’s go,” he nodded, following you into the hallway, “Any casualties I need to know about?”
You shook your head, “Nothing too serious. There’s a hell of a lot more this week than usual though, Alfie. All your gangsters are good for is keeping us nurses busy with their never ending list injuries. Between your lot and Sabini’s men, this place is never quiet– they even fight with each other when they’re in here those… those ruddy idiots!”
Alfie chuckled at your choice of words, “Why d'you think I let my boys get into all them fights in the first place, love? Gives me a bit of peace and quiet too ‘round my bakery and all.”
“I doubt there’s ever a dull moment in your bakery, Alfie Solomons.” You chided playfully.
“Well you’d know for yourself if you ever let me show you round.”
“Tell your men to stop fighting with their fists and start talking to one another and maybe I’ll actually have the time.”
Alfie loved this. The back and forth between you two that seemed to flow effortlessly. And it was thanks to your indifference on the entire gangster situation. To you, treating these men was no different to treating soldiers during war. You had become a nurse to help people, and if the war had taught you anything, it was that groups of men not getting along very well often resulted in casualties.
At least, this was the explanation you had given to Alfie the very first day he visited the centre and asked what an innocent young woman such as yourself was doing treating criminals. He even asked if you were being forced into it, promising to take care of it if that were the case.
You had laughed it off, saying a job was a job. From that day on, Alfie had taken a keen interest you. The only woman– no, the only person he knew outside the bakery who didn’t look at him with either fear or disgust when they found out about his line of work. And for that, Alfie thought the world of you.
You had arrived in the infirmary– the ward that had most of Alfie’s men, at least, “I’ve tried to keep them separate from Sabini’s men this past week. Bit of extra paperwork, but Anne and I are sick of them trying to murder each other while they’re still bedridden.”
Alfie scoffed, “I can barely put up with my lot longer than a day before I lose it at someone. How the hell do you put up with all this lot?”
“Gives me an excuse to see you nearly every day, doesn’t it?” You said truthfully. Even as the close friend he had become, Alfie’s presence was oddly comforting when you were dealing with his men all day long.
“Have they been behaving themselves for you?” Alfie asked, as if he was reading your mind. You were stood at the entrance to the ward, no one had noticed you yet.
“I don’t think it’s in their nature to behave, Alfie,” you joked.
“Well you tell me which ones are give you trouble and I’ll sort them right out.”
“Duly noted,” you smiled as you gestured for Alfie to step into the ward. Some of the boys had noticed you and Alfie and began to get riled up.
“Boss is here boys!” One shouted out, “Looks like he’s brought his bird with him too,” he snickered as he winked at you.
You grimaced at the man while Alfie marched up and grabbed him by the collar, “Don’t you fu–,” Alfie stopped, giving you a sideways glance before continuing, “Don’t start with me boy, or you’ll be too dead to regret it,” he muttered threateningly.
You couldn’t count the amount of times the men had hurled all sorts of lewd comments your way but most of them knew to shut up when the boss walked in. Most.
“Right then,” Alfie looked around with a cold expression, “Anyone else got something to say to Nurse Y/N?… No? No one at all?,” Alfie looked around with mock concern before hardening his expression, “Good. Now keep it that way or I’ll make sure these injuries become permanent.”
You stayed quiet, Alfie’s visits to his men often ended with him lecturing them all about treating you better. Needless to say you were used to it by now, you even got a little kick out of watching the men’s faces turn pale after Alfie had stormed out of the room.
“Come on, love,” Alfie said quietly to you, gently pulling you out of the ward.
“You really don’t have to give that spiel every time you come in here, you know. I can handle myself.”
“Believe me, I know you can,” Alfie chuckled, “Actually, that um… that brings me to why I really came down to see you today.”
“Oh?” You raised an eyebrow.
“Yeah, yeah,” Alfie started, running his hand through his beard, “Seeing as you already know how to handle yourself round my men how’s about you come and work for me directly?”
“A-As what exactly?” You were surprised at yourself that that was your first question. Alfie Solomons was offering you a job and for some strange reason, that didn’t strike you as unexpected.
“As a nurse, what else?” Alfie shrugged as if it were obvious.
“Alfie, I already am a nurse for your men here– and all my equipment is here too, I couldn’t pick it up and move it because it doesn’t exactly belong to me. Besides, I doubt your factory would have space for a makeshift infirmary anyway.”
“Makeshift? No love, I’d have it all built nice and proper for you– if you said yes, of course.”
To be fair, your own space to work did sound rather appealing, but you still couldn’t envision leaving this place. “What of all my equipment? Technically it all belongs to Mr. Briggs, he owns the building.”
Alfie thought about if for a moment, “I’ll have my men speak to this Mr. Briggs about letting you take it. Or I’ll buy the building and have anything you need transferred to my warehouse– Or you can give me a list and I’ll have all your equipment bought brand new. Choice is yours,” Alfie said, mulling over those three options himself.
You were slightly taken aback by Alfie’s generosity. You knew he was in a position to afford it, but to be prepared to spend all that money on you was quite the compliment.
“Maybe we ought to see what Mr. Briggs says first, he might me willing to part with some of the equipment. Besides, I really wouldn’t want you spending all that money on me.”
Alfie smiled, “You know I could afford to buy this building and have a new facility built for you in the warehouse. Speaking of money, how much is this Briggs paying you?”
“Ah– enough to get me by each week, I suppose.”
“Well whatever he pays you, I’ll double it– no, triple. And you live alone?”
You nodded, “My flat’s just down the road.”
Alfie hummed, “Right, well I can’t have you making the trek all the way over to me everyday by yourself–”
“I’m sure I could manage, trust me,” you said, slightly defensively.
Alfie chuckled, “I’d trust you with my life, Y/N. But being the beautiful young lady you are, it’s the men out there I don’t trust,” he said gesturing to the street, “I have an empty house not far from bakery, you can live in that if you want, and–”
Your eyes widened slightly, “My own house?” Saying it out loud made you realise it wouldn’t work, “Thank you Alfie, but I really don’t think I can afford an entire home–”
“You’ll find that I’m a very generous landlord, Y/N. As long as you’re working for me, the house is yours free of charge.”
“Alfie this is all far too kind…” A new home, a tripled salary and your own facility?
“Kind? No, love, you’d be doing me a favour. I won’t have to come all the way out here to see you everyday– in fact, you can start visiting me in my office,” he grinned at the thought.
You smiled at that, “I’m being serious Alfie…”
“Honest darlin’, I need a nurse on site and you’re the perfect person for the job. Nothing kind about that, just business,” He said nonchalantly, though secretly he loved that this was all making you smile so much, “What d'you think? You’ll come and work for me?”
You didn’t even need to consider it a moment longer before nodding excitedly, “It would be my pleasure, Alfie,” without thinking you engulfed him in a hug, “Thank you.”
Alfie was slightly surprised by your gesture before you felt his chuckle reverberating through his chest as he wrapped his arms around you, “No need to thank me, Y/N. You know I’d do anything for you,” he said quietly, placing a quick kiss on your forehead.
You couldn’t help but think that being so close to Alfie each day might actually mean the friendship between you might blossom into something more now. You smiled at the thought. And although he gave nothing away on his expression, Alfie was thinking exactly the same thing.
Just The Two of Us
Notes: I’m baaaack! I was reading so many Mando fics after that episode and thought I’d write my own while I’m in my feels still haha
Summary: After saying goodbye to Grogu, Din has a hard time coming to terms with the fact that he’s gone.
Pairing: Din x Reader (Married)
Warnings: Hurt/Comfort + Fluff
“He’s gone.”
“I know, love.”
“It’s my fault.”
“No,” you stood up, moving to sit by Din, who hadn’t shifted from his position in several hours. His helmet clad head was buried in his hands as he sat still on the rickety old bed in the Nevarro motel you’d called home for the last few weeks.
“He’s all alone.” Nothing could hide the sheer pain in his voice, not even the modulator. You sighed, resting your head on his shoulder. The beskar made it an uncomfortable position but you didn’t mind. Your bare hands found your riduur’s gloved ones as you sighed.
“He’s with his kind, it’s here he belonged. We knew this was coming, didn’t we?”
“That doesn’t make it easier.”
“I know it doesn’t, love. But I won’t let you blame yourself. I can’t. This was out of our control. It was meant to be. You know that.”
“But I let him leave... I didn’t even give him this—“ Din stopped before he choked up, taking out a familiar metal ball from his pouch and showing it to you. You smiled sadly at it.
Memories of The Child flashed through your mind as you recalled the day Grogu was taken by the Jedi on Gideon’s light cruiser. It had only been a few weeks, yet the hole it left behind for you and Din made it feel like much longer.
“I know how much you miss him, I miss him too,” you spoke softly as you moved to trace your fingers under the hilt of his helmet, willing him to remove it himself.
Even after you were married, you knew the helmet was a source of comfort for Din, a way of shielding himself from the world and the world from him. He never shied away from showing you his face once it was allowed, but lately he had opted to keep the helmet on. When he finally lifted it to reveal his face, you knew why. His eyes were red and puffy, with fresh tears forming when you took his face in your hands. He leaned into your touch immediately, wrapping his arms around you and sinking into your chest.
“It’s okay,” you whispered, pressing your lips to his hair, “We’ll be okay, we always have been, haven’t we? The two of us.” Several moments passed before Din sniffled and finally looked up to you. Any pretences of the violence-hardened bounty hunter melted away as his brown eyes bore into your own. He gave you a small nod before mouthing something of a thank you.
“We’ll see him again. You promised him, remember? All we can do is hold onto that thought.” You ran your thumb across his cheek as you spoke to him. You descended into a comfortable silence for a few minutes, and you were almost certain Din had fallen asleep until he eventually stirred.
“I love you so much, cyar'ika,” Din said as he lifted himself off you and gestured instead for you to rest against his chest. You happily obliged.
“I love you too.”
The Secret is Out
Prompt: Can you do a oneshot were the reader is in a secret relationship with Kylo Ren and they go on a mission together with the Knights of Ren and somethimg happens and reader gets badly injured and when she is being treated the doctors inform Kylo that reader is pregnant and Kylo has to come clean on who the father is.
Pairing: Kylo Ren x Female Reader
Warnings: Canon typical violence; pregnancy
“No. No. Absolutely not,” Kylo turned to look at you but didn’t meet your gaze as he continued to pace the length of his quarters.
“Don’t be ridiculous, if I don’t go, people will talk,” you crossed your arms as you fell back into his bed. As inviting as the silky black sheets were though, you had a job to do... and not even Kylo Ren was going to stand in the way of that.
“Let them talk. You haven’t been yourself lately, you’re not going,” Kylo finally stopped, turning to look at you properly now. His expression was hardened yet you could sense how nervous he was at the thought of bringing you along.
“I’ll be fine,” you shook your head, standing up and closing the gap between you and the man you loved, “I’m going and that’s final.”
Kylo’s lips pressed into a thin line, and he knelt down to rest his forehead against yours, “I can’t protect you out there, Y/N. The Knights already have their suspicions about us.”
“What was it you said? Let them talk,” you whispered before trailing your eyes down to his pink lips.
“You’re still sick,” Kylo’s voice shook ever so slightly with the newfound proximity between you both. “I heard you this morning in the ‘fresher.”
“If I was sick, I wouldn’t be able to do this,” you said before pressing your lips to his. You stayed like that for a few moments before Kylo parted with a sigh.
“Fine, but stay close to me when we’re out there.”
A few hours later, you were offloading from your ship alongside Kylo and the other Knights of Ren on an enemy planet. Your fingers curled around your blaster and you gave Kylo a quick nod— which you assumed he saw under his helmet— before you disbanded as a group and set off in search of the base you were hoping to raid.
You kept close enough to Kylo, just like he’d asked you to, but remained focus on the task at hand. You’d only just broadened your gap between you and Kylo when a stray blaster fire came shooting from the trees opposite you.
“Run. Now!” Kylo yelled out to you as he inched closer to the spot of the enemy fire.
“Kylo—”
“Now, Y/N!”
But you both knew you weren’t one to cower away from a fight. You charged in the opposite direction to what Kylo told you, running straight by him and into the enemy territory with your blaster at the ready.
It didn’t take long for you to realise it was a mistake, though. You could see the other Knights scrambling around the foliage in a flurry of blaster fire and shouting that seemed to come from both sides. After several minutes of dodging, firing, and repeating, you spotted Kylo running towards you with an unfamiliar figure close behind his trail.
You could see immediately what was going to happen has the man behind Kylo drew his weapon and aimed it straight ahead. There was no time to warn him, and apparently no time to think either, because the next thing you knew, you were diving in front of your lover to shield him from the laser-like light heading his way. You felt the searing pain shoot through your chest as your knees buckled from underneath you.
You heard Kylo’s strained voice yell out to you, the clarity in his tone suggesting he’d removed his helmet. But your vision was blurring at this point and by the time you saw his boots come into clearer view, everything seemed to go black.
You woke up with a raging headache and a dull ache in your rib cage. You didn’t open your eyes fully right away, especially once you clocked the all-too-familiar fluorescent lights of the med bay beaming down on you. You remembered exactly what had happened and why you were here. But the fact that you were here, and not dead on some backwater planet meant that you could give yourself a few moments to at least pretend you were still asleep. You were safe, at least.
Perhaps you spoke too soon, though, because it wasn’t long before a gloved hand met yours and gave it a tight squeeze.
“Nothing gets by you, does it?” You croaked, your eyes still closed but a small smile creeping up on your face.
“I could say the same for you... I saw you open your eyes just now.” Kylo’s unmodulated voice had your eyes fluttering open. “You shouldn’t have done what you did, Y/N.”
“You would’ve done the same.”
Kylo frowned, knowing it was the truth. He shook his head as he brought your hand up to his mouth and pressed his lips to it. He held you like that as he spoke, “I knew it was wrong to bring you. The med droid just came to check on you. Your vitals are all over the place.”
“I feel okay all things considering,” you said truthfully, “I’ve been out of sorts lately, I know, but being out there today was... refreshing.”
“It was three days ago, Y/N. You’ve been knocked out this entire time.”
You met Kylo’s gaze, noting the redness around them now as you realised the agony you would’ve put him through. You knew Kylo well enough to guess that he wouldn’t have left your bedside this entire time.
“I guess our cover is blown then? The mighty Kylo Ren sitting by my side in the med bay for three days straight would be enough to raise suspicion in anyone, let alone the Knights.”
Kylo looked like he wanted to respond, but the sound of a door opening promptly cut him off. You winced as Kylo dropped your hand suddenly, causing it to land with a thud against your chest. He flashed you an apologetic look before standing up and walking to the doctor.
“Ah, good. You’re awake,” the doctor smiled down at you. “You took a nasty hit, Y/N, you’re lucky to be alive in your condition.”
You tried to lift yourself up at the doctor’s words, but it put too much strain on your body to muster up the strength. You saw Kylo stop himself from moving towards you, instead choosing to stand at the foot of your bed with his arms crossed.
“Condition? What condition?” Kylo asked.
“Perhaps I ought to speak to you alone,” the doctor looked nervously between you and Kylo, but you shook your head.
“It’s okay, he can stay. What is it? What’s wrong with me?”
“There’s nothing wrong, it’s just that it’s a... personal matter.”
“Well out with it,” Kylo barked at the doctor and you flashed him a look as the doctor took a step back.
You nodded at the doctor. “It’s fine. Whatever it is, he can stay.”
“Y/N, you took a bad hit from the blaster fire but it seemed to miss any organs, fortunately... but your vitals have been abnormal since you arrived— more abnormal than they should be based on your injury.”
Kylo flashed you a worried look before you spoke, “So what is it, doctor?”
“Well, you’re not very far along but Y/N... you’re pregnant.”
You froze, unable to look at Kylo or the doctor for several moments before you slowly nodded. This would certainly explain why you hadn’t felt yourself lately. “Okay... okay, fine. So the baby is... I mean, is it... it’s okay?”
“Just fine, Y/N. But with an injury like this, we’ll need to monitor you closely for the next few weeks to make sure you and the baby are okay. We have your medical records of course, but it would help to have the father of your baby’s records as well. Just so that we know what to look out for.”
An awkward silence fell amongst the three of them for some time. You certainly weren’t going to out your secret relationship with Kylo Ren in front of this doctor.
“I don’t—“ When you finally spoke, Kylo was quick to cut you off.
“I trust you have my records already?” Kylo’s tone was unemotional, as if he was simply stating the facts.
“I um— well, yes. Yes, of course, Sir.” The doctor looked between you and Kylo before nodding quickly, “Yes absolutely.”
“Good. Then you should have everything you need to make sure Y/N and the baby are healthy.”
“Yes. Yes, Sir, everything... thank you,” the doctor took this as her cue to leave and gave you a quick nod before retreating out of the room as quickly as she came in.
“Well that was...” you trailed off as you saw Kylo stride over to you and press his lips to yours. The kiss was full of sheer emotion, with Kylo gripping your cheeks as if he might not ever see you again. When you parted, he kept his head close to yours.
“You’re pregnant, Y/N.”
“I suppose I am. That explains all the trouble I’ve been having lately,” you huffed.
“I let the mother of my child take a blaster shot for me,” Kylo shook his head, “How could I be so stupid? Forgive me, Y/N—“
“What is there to forgive?” You cupped Kylo’s cheek in your hand, smiling at him as your eyes began to water, “We’re going to have a baby, Kylo, that’s all I care about.”
Kylo leaned down, careful not to knock you as he did so. He was lying awkwardly with half his body against yours and his legs dangling off the bed. You rested your head against his chest as he spoke.
“People will find out about us now.”
“They don’t have to. There are ways we can go about it.”
“I told the doctor. The med staff will all know by the end of the day. The Knights have come and gone to see you over the last few days and not one of them left without asking if I wanted to take a break from sitting here. If they haven’t already figured it out, Y/N, I’m sure it won’t be long before they do.”
“So that’s it then? Our secret is out and we’re having a baby,” you tried laughing but stopped when your chest protested with a sharp pang.
Kylo hummed, “You’ll want for nothing, my love. Not you, not the baby.”
“I know,” you looked up at him, “That’s why I love you.”
Can you do a oneshot were the reader is in a secret relationship with Kylo Ren and they go on a mission together with the Knights of Ren and somethimg happens and reader gets badly injured and when she is being treated the doctors inform Kylo that reader is pregnant and Kylo has to come clean on who the father is.
Yes, love this!!
Apologies
Note: You are the kindest First Order General that Kylo has ever known. But when he tells you this, he doesn’t quite expect for you to react so negatively. In an effort to earn your forgiveness and demonstrate his love for you, you soon learn that Kylo will go to great lengths.
Requested by: Anon.
“It’s amazing how much you endure for me,” Kylo whispered as he ran his fingers gently down your cheek.
You were both lying on the bed in your shared quarters. After having had a particularly trying day, you were ready to go to sleep the moment you laid on the bed. Though Kylo was a light sleeper, he was always willing to lie with you until you fell asleep.
So in that moment, with your eyes half closed as sleep was beginning to wash over you, Kylo’s comment quickly sent your head snapping up into his direction.
“What do you mean?”
With his helmet resting on the nightstand, you could see him furrow his eyebrows, “You put up with so much on a daily basis. And we both know that you do it for me.”
You raised an eyebrow, “I’m a high ranking First Order general, Kylo,” you said pointedly, “I think my job requires me to put up with a lot regardless.”
“No, no,” Kylo said quickly, “I mean this entire thing. You even being a General. Let’s be honest, you’re hardly First Order material.”
You shot up immediately, clutching to the blanket as you looked down at him, “Why would you say something like that?”
Kylo looked taken aback by your reaction, “I-I didn’t meant to offend you, love, I meant it as a compliment. You don’t belong here!” He said in a flurry of words, suddenly realising what he had just said didn’t sound any better.
You scoffed and Kylo reached out to you, “That came out wrong, Y/N. I mean you don’t belong here because you deserve so much more.”
You rolled your eyes, “Thanks.”
“You’re unlike anyone else on this entire base, Y/N. You’re kind-hearted, you’re caring… and you’re not afraid of me,” he added, trying to lighten your expression. But you remained scowling, “Sometimes it seems as though the only reason you put up with working here is me. Like you’re wasting your potential here just for me.”
“So you think I’m a waste of potential? Lovely,” you said, getting out of the bed. You didn’t know why this bothered you so much, but it just did.
Kylo had found you on your home planet, tattered and lost. Like you didn’t know where in the Galaxy you belonged. Though it was true your personality might not have been the very best for First Order, Kylo had given you a home and work that had stability, and that was important to you. He knew that too, and after all you had been through, you couldn’t believe he would actually think of taking that away.
“Where are you going?” Kylo frowned.
“Well clearly I don’t belong here,” you muttered.
“Y/N,” Kylo sighed, “You’re taking this the wrong way, just wait–”
But you didn’t want to hear it. You opened the blast doors hastily before storming out.
…
“These came for you, General L/N… Uh, again,” the Storm Trooper awkwardly set a bouquet of roses down on your desk.
You thanked and dismissed him before placing the flowers onto the shelf, joining the three other bouquets that had now found a home there.
You caught a brief glance of the note before you shelved it. My darling Y/N, I am so sorry.“
It had been four days since your argument, and Kylo had sent you flowers on every one of them. The morning after the argument, he had to leave for a diplomatic mission. But he didn’t want to leave his presence unforgotten.
You didn’t even know where Kylo could’ve gotten these roses from. They certainly didn’t grow on Starkiller Base. You laughed slightly at the thought of him ordering someone to fetch him flowers from a distant planet. Just the thought of him showing such outward affection was so odd.
In truth, you had forgiven him a few moments after you had stormed out of your bedroom. You realised that you might have overacted, especially when Kylo had meant no harm by his words.
But since he was away on a mission, you were using this time apart to your advantage. You hadn’t spoken to him since he left. No twice daily check-ins as was the usual when either of you were away. When the first bouquet of roses had arrived, you became curious to know how far he would go to show he was sorry.
You know it sounded terrible, but it had become so much fun. Besides, Kylo would back in a few days and you would talk it over with him then. This was harmless.
“General?” A knock at the door suddenly caught your attention.
“Come in,” you said as you watched the same Storm Trooper enter.
“General L/N, Captain Phasma ordered me to inform you that a Shuttle will be leaving in half an hour.”
“…And?”
“And she has requested you join her in the Hangar before then to give you enough time to board,” he finished.
You frowned, “To board? I have no trips scheduled in my itinerary.”
The room fell quiet as the Storm Trooper was at a loss for what to say to you. You smiled briefly, “That’ll be all thank you.”
Half an hour passed quickly and you soon found yourself sitting beside Phasma on board a First Order starship heading to only Maker knew where.
“Any idea what this is all about?” You asked, curious but also trying to start a conversation with the otherwise quiet Captain.
“All I know is that Commander Ren wanted me to escort you to this planet.”
“What planet?”
“I don’t know that it’s even been named,” she huffed, “From what I’ve heard it’s beautiful, but it’s entirely uninhabited.”
“Sounds like the perfect place to kill us both without anyone seeing,” you remarked, letting out a laugh.
“Perhaps not me, but we both know the Commander wouldn’t even think about harming you.”
You smiled, humming in agreement. So what was this all about?
When you landed and descended down the ramp, you couldn’t help but gasp at the sheer beauty of the planet.
It was sunset, and the green field that you had landed in was adorned with what looked like a million different flowers. Your eyes lit up at the sight of roses growing in front of you.
In the distance stood Kylo, two Storm Troopers standing on either side of him.
You went towards him, and soon as you were close enough, he dismissed his men and removed his helmet.
“Y/N?” He wasn’t surprised, rather he sounded cautious about how best to approach you.
“Hello, Kylo.”
“Did you… get the– the roses that I sent?”
“All four bouquets,” you responded nonchalantly. You almost felt bad for toying with him now.
He nodded, “I had them sent from this planet.”
“Where are we anyway?”
“This planet belongs to a region the First Order has just acquired. I was sent to confirm that the planet is uninhabited.”
“It’s too pretty for no one to live on it,” you observed.
Kylo’s expression lit up at that, “Do you like the planet?”
You nodded in response.
“Then it’s yours.”
You scoffed, “What do you mean it’s mine?”
“I’m giving it to you. As a reminder of how much I love you,” Kylo started, being particularly careful with how he spoke, “Not that I’m saying your love can be bought…” The last thing he needed was for you to get angry again.
You could tell he wasn’t finished, so you waited expectantly for him to continue.
“Look, I was wrong, Y/N. You do belong in the First Order, and I should never have told you otherwise. I’m so sorry, love.” The desperation in his voice told you that he needed you to forgive him.
Little did he know, you already had. “It’s fine– I think I agree with you anyway.”
Kylo frowned, “You don’t feel like you belong?” He hated the thought of you believing you had no place in the First Order, especially if it was him who had placed such ideas in your mind.
You shook your head, “Maybe I don’t belong in the First Order. Maybe, I am too… kind-hearted, as you put it. But it’s that part of me that couldn’t stay angry at you for longer than ten minutes,” you admitted.
“You know I didn’t mean for you to take offence to what I said, Y/N, I–”
“Let me finish,” you stopped him, taking your hand in his to let you know everything was alright, “Maybe being a First Order General isn’t for me. But then again, I’m not sure of anywhere I would rather be. Because living and working on Starkiller Base has taught me something important.”
“And what’s that?”
“It doesn’t matter where I am in the entire Galaxy, Kylo. If you are by my side, I’ll know that it’s where I belong.”
His eyes lit up at your words, instant relief washing over him as he embraced you.
“Then I promise to never stop making you feel like you belong, my darling.”
“And I promise not to storm off on you like that again,” you laughed, “Although… having you think I’m mad at you does seem to have it’s benefits. After all, I could get used to four bouquets and an entire planet to tell me your sorry,” you teased him.
“Well clearly my words aren’t the best way to tell you how I feel about you,” Kylo chuckled, “Maybe I’m just better at showing it. I never want you to feel out of place, not even for a minute. I would do anything to prove to you how much I love and care about you, Y/N. You know that, don’t you?”
“Hmm, well I do now,” you smiled, reaching up to press your lips to his.
An Eternal Love - Chapter One
Y/N Dameron, the adopted sister of Poe, fell in love with Ben Solo as a young girl. Years later, she stands by Kylo Ren, still searching for the boy he once was: The boy who captured her heart.
Note: Sooo this first chapter sort of sets the scene with a few snippets from the Reader’s life. This is an AU, but will roughly follow the events of The Force Awakens; this chapter starts sort of towards the beginning of TFA so no prize for guessing who the prisoner they’re talking about is 😂 There’ll be angst, fluff, and all that good stuff!
Feedback is always appreciated, and I hope you enjoy :)
Your childhood— Aged 6, Yavin 4: “Why can’t I just stay with Poe?” You whined as your mother ushered you along.
The first day of anything was always more nerve wracking than it was exciting. Today was no exception.
“Poe’s in the class with the older kids, Y/N. You have to go with children your own age, you can make your own friends too,” your mother added hopefully.
You crossed your arms and let out a frustrated huff, “But Poe is my friend.”
“Well Poe is your brother, and he’s getting older, Y/N. You need to make friends of your own… This will be good for you, darling, I promise.”
“But I don’t know anyone else. I don’t have other friends.”
At the age of three, you were abandoned by your birth family. Left on a planet whose name you would long since forget on a tall pile rocks so as to attract the attention of whoever was coming by. They could’ve been traders, other merchants looking to quickly flog a young girl to the highest bidder.
But fortunately, you were shortly found by members of the Rebel Alliance, who brought you to their base on Yavin 4. Shara Bey and Kes Dameron volunteered to take you into their home, and raised you like their own; it didn’t take long for the Damerons to become your family and you had never looked back.
Your mother looked down at you with a poorly-hidden look of pity. It was no secret that Shara Bey and Kes Dameron had one very outgoing son and a daughter that preferred her own company— or Poe’s, at least.
No one ever said anything to them directly, but there was always talk around the base. That Poe Dameron was kind to everyone he met, but his younger sister was always standoffish. Some people thought it was because of the trauma from your early childhood. But really, you were just a quiet child.
“Yes well… it’s your first day. It’s everyone’s first day in your class, did you know that? You’ll make plenty of friends, Y/N,” but that didn’t seem to reassure you, “And yes, your brother will be close by if you need him.”
“Fine,” you grumbled, allowing your mother to lead you into the building.
You grudgingly continued down the pathway, towards the building that had been set up as a makeshift school for the children on the Rebel base. It was an old training facility that had generated enough interest to be converted into a centre for the small group of children who lived on the base with their families.
It wasn’t very big. Your classroom was right next to Poe’s. You could even see him through the glass panel on the wall that divided the two rooms, flying a model X-Wing around with some of the other children.
There had to only be four or five other children in your classroom, but your mother had insisted on arriving early so that she could meet the teacher before leaving for a mission in the afternoon.
“Ah look, darling, here’s a friend for you already,” your mother smiled as you approached another woman and her son, whose expression matched the reluctant one plainly printed on your face. Your mother led you to the middle of the classroom, “Y/N, you remember Ben, don’t you?”
You looked at him and nodded slightly. You had a very vague recollection of this boy, Ben Solo. He had visited your family’s quarters with his mother a few times before.
Though from your understanding he never really mixed with the other group of children on the Base apart from that.
“Well, why don’t you say hello then?” Your mother gently ushered you to look up at him.
“Um… hello,” you mumbled shyly.
“Hi,” he replied just as quietly. Your mothers exchanged amused looks.
“Y/N’s mother is a close friend of mine,” Leia said to her son, “So I’m sure you two can become good friends too. Look at you both, just as quiet as each other,” she smiled. Leia put a hand on her son’s shoulder, “You’ll watch out for Y/N today, won’t you?”
“Yeah okay,” Ben nodded.
Shara flashed Leia a grateful look before both women said their goodbyes to you. You and Ben stood in silence for a few moments.
“So does this mean that we’re friends?” Ben finally spoke.
“I don’t know,” you shrugged, “I’ve never really made a friend before— except for Poe. But he’s my brother,” you finished quietly.
“I don’t have many friends either,” Ben offered. You seemed to lighten up at that, slightly relieved that you weren’t the only one. “No one likes to talk to me because of who my parents are.”
“Why? Who are your parents?” You looked up at him. From the interactions you had seen between your mothers in the past, Leia was just a family friend, another member of the Rebel Alliance. Of course, at the time, your young self couldn’t possibly have known the truth of it all.
Ben would soon explain it to you, but for now, he wanted to wait. Revel in the fact that someone was actually talking to him who had no idea what the names Leia Organa and Han Solo meant to the galaxy.
“You mean, you really don’t know?”
You shook your head in response.
The corners of Ben’s mouth twitched upwards ever so slightly, “Then I think we should be friends.”
You smiled at that, and nodded in agreement.

Hi!! You haven’t posted in a while, you doing okay? Just wanted to check on you love ❤️
Thank you for checking in lovely, that means so much 💕 I’m still here, and doing alright! Hoping to get some new stuff out on this page soon, I’ve missed you all xx
Hi! Just wondering how many more parts will the arrangement have until it reaches the end? I'm so eager to read it but i wanna wait till it's done bc i'm so impatient and hate waiting for updates lol so please let me know!<3
That’s a good question!! I’d say at least 3-5 more just because of where it is now and where I want to take it. Funny thing is that when I did my chapter outlines for this way back when, it finished at around Chap 20 so I’m defs behind schedule haha! xx
just wanted to say that i love your writing!!!!
Thank you!!
I WANNA START BY SAYING I AM IN LOVE WITH YOUR WRITING!! 💕 The Arrangement is probably the best (seriously) Kylo Ren x Reader I have ever read. I have read more than probably 20 on Wattpad and they all lack what you’ve wrote so far. I would love for you to maybe write more Kylo X Reader. I love the idea of him being totally committed to the dark side. I want the reader to be fully committed to the dark side for him. Lmao I’m tired of fanfics where the readers try to bring him to the light smh
Thank you sooo much for this, lovely!
I’m glad you like the story 😊 I’ve got quite a few Kylo x Reader oneshots/ imagines you can take a look at by searching my page or checking out my masterlist! Hope you enjoy xx
an update
Hiya lovelies!
So if you’re reading this, then you’ve definitely stuck around long enough to deserve a bit of an update from me and this page!
Life has been keeping me busy lately, and I’ve been working on some other writing projects (unrelated to this page) that have been taking up my spare time.
To those who have been kind enough to check up on me via inbox/ messaging, THANK YOU! And to answer your questions, I’m still here and I’m hoping to return to writing for this page soon! This isn’t my main blog, so even though it doesn’t look like it on this page, I’m on tumblr daily! So if you ever want to talk, I’m always here to listen!
In the meantime though, please feel free to explore the page! I’ve got a link to my masterlist in my bio, or everything is tagged by show and character if you prefer!
Lastly, on The Arrangement and the next chapter: I know I haven’t updated in ageeees on this story. Tbh, I lost inspiration to write it and that’s probably why it’s taken me so long to update. I’m working on the next chapter, in fact it’s been sitting in draft form in my Notes for several months now so I really am close to getting it up on here!
Thank you all for your kindness and support for this page, it truly means the world to me. Have a fab day/ night and you’ll be hearing from me again soon 💕😘
The Arrangement - Chapter Nineteen
Author’s Note: Here we go! Technically, this is the 20th chapter of TA because this series has a prologue, so I’ve tried to make it a bit special! The Resder isn’t really in this one except in conversation, but you won’t miss yourself in this one 😂
This chapter is in Kylo’s perspective. Watch out for the confession towards the end— I’m telling you, Snoke is a stellar marriage therapist haha
Enjoy reading, and thank you for the support! Feedback is always appreciated :)

“I fear that the Princess will not survive this, Supreme Leader,” Kylo Ren said as he looked up at the hologram of his mentor, “She is ill-prepared.”
It was now late afternoon. Shortly following Snoke’s revelation that he wanted you to be the one to kill Jax, you had all but fainted and Kylo had to half carry, half drag— on account of you shouting protestations at him— you back to your shared quarters to gather your thoughts.
It was just him and Snoke in the meeting chamber now, and both could say their piece without the fear of you collapsing in shock— though Kylo was more concerned about that possibility than Snoke was, it would seem.
“When we last spoke, before the incident with the bodyguard, you informed me that your training with the girl had exceeded even your highest of expectations,” Snoke responded flatly, “Am I to now believe that you reported falsehoods to me, Commander Ren?”
Kylo shook his head slightly, praising himself for retrieving his helmet before meeting with his mentor again. He didn’t want Snoke to see the devastation plastered on his expression. He hadn’t wanted you to see it, either. After all, it was for your present circumstance that he was feeling this in the first place.
“I have never lied to you, Supreme Leader.”
“Then why, after you have reported that your apprentice is progressing exceptionally in her mental and physical agility with the Force, would you now recant those words in favour of the view that the Princess is not ready for this next part of her training?”
Kylo was quiet as he thought carefully about how best to word what he wanted to say.
“Has something changed in the Princess that would make unsuited to carry out the execution?” Snoke asked when Kylo failed to respond to his last question, “Do you wish to tell me, perchance, that she is with child?”
