I JUST NOTICED SOMETHING in my CAOS rewatch and I thought I would share: During s1e7, Feast of Feasts, Sabrina is trying to get Ms. Wardwell to talk some sense into Prudence, and when Prudence says, “the reward [for being sacrificed] is everlasting glory in the Dark Lord’s heart,” Lilith gives her this look (the time mark is 24:28 ish on Netflix). 

Before season two, I assumed that the look was because she knew about Desmelda, and knew that the High Priest was the one enforcing the Feast of Feasts, not the Dark Lord. But now? Now I know that Lilith was trying to tell Prudence with a meaningful look that the sacrifice is meaningless because the Dark Lord doesn’t give a shit about women, and would never honor the Queen of the Feast in his “heart,” when he doesn’t even honor Lilith, his right hand, and holy fucking shit Michelle Gomez was definitely playing Lilith up the whole time, and I just didn’t realize it.
