If you are under 40 years old and you live in New York, San Francisco, Chicago, or really any major metropolitan city, it’s a guarantee that you’ve worked for a start-up, applied to work for a start-up, or had a close friend or significant other who you lost to a start-up.  This is how it begins…oh my god, I’ve had a totally original idea! I should start a company that makes t-shirts/some kind of app/scented socks/invisible toilets. This is my million dollar idea.  With the number of young hopefuls who have had these aspirations in the past decade and the number of older dreamers who have the wallets to fund them, we are living in a start-up world.
