āNO! Donāt pull the innocent card on me! I saw you with him!ā Jason accused.
The fight had been going on for over an hour. You had just gotten home from seeing a cousin that was in town only to find an angry Jason waiting for you.
āJason, Iām not cheating on you!ā you yelled, anger starting to pent up inside of you.
āWhy should I believe you? Huh? I mean you flirt with guys all the time. Not surprising since it is in your blood to be a slut.ā
āMy mother was not a slut! Just because she was a teenager when she had me does not give you the right to disrespect her like that!ā you screamed.
āI was talking about your sister,ā you froze, tears building up in your eyes. Jason knew he crossed a line. Your sister was the reason you became a vigilante. She was taken by a gang that ran the sex slave trade. You were too late by the time you took down the trade.
ā(y/n) Iām so sorry-ā you cut him off, āLeave Jason,ā you whispered.
āWhat?ā he asked, not sure if he heard you right.
āI SAID LEAVE!ā you wailed, tears rolling down your face. Jason didnāt leave, instead, he tried to reach out to you. You smacked his hand away, folding your arms against your chest and taking a few steps back.
āI said leave,ā you croaked, staring him in the eyes.
Jason reluctantly grabbed his jacket and walked out the door, leaving the shattered remains of a once loving relationship.
Two months have gone by since either of you has spoken to one another. Another prostitute ring sprouted, giving you a distraction from your broken heart. The other Batboys kept in contact when they needed help, like tonight. Bruce discovered that Gothamās villains planned to release Jokerās laughing gas into the air and cause chaos. You suited up in your (f/c) catsuit and grabbed your (w/c) before hopping onto your motorcycle, speeding away to the Batcave.
You pressed the button on the intercom system outside the door to the cave, āItās (sh/n) requesting entry.ā
āWelcome Miss (y/n),ā Alfred greeted over the intercom.
The doors opened and you drive the ramp, parking your bike at the bottom of it.
āHey guys, sorry if Iām late. My usual path was blocked-ā you stopped as you took into account who was there, āJason.ā
Bruce continued on with his directions. Damian and Tim were to access the gas bombs and disabled them permanently while everyone else served as a distraction.
āWe leave in five, ā Bruce concluded, leaving to somewhere in the cave.
Jason turned to you, ā(y/n) Iām sorry.ā
You look back at his desperate eyes, āLetās talk after the mission,ā you offered.
He nodded, leaving you to grab his mask and helmet.
The fight was in full swing, You were up in the catwalks of the building fighting against Slade. You were losing the battle. You played defense but your dodging was beginning to become predictable.
āThe crisis has been diverted. Get out of there,ā Tim spoke over the comm. You threw a punch at Slade only for him to catch it pulling you into him. He grasped your neck, cutting off your air supply. He stabbed his sword through your chest, āYou lost.ā Blood started to dribble from the corner of your mouth and nose. He released you from his grip and kick you off the platform, sending you crashing to the concrete floor below. You remember someone screaming your name and then the lights went out.Ā
