I have a headcanon about disaster twins. They both love pineapplesđ. Donnie however is picky of eating pineapple in certain way as sweet or drink sometimes, but never on pizzađ. Leo on the other hand doesnât mind eating pineapple on everything, even on pizza. Itâs mainly because when they were Leo didnât want to eat anything as he was picky eater, poor Splinter had difficult time, worried Blue might starve himself to death (especially when you donât know kids their food diet as theyâre not human nor regular turtles, baby mutant turtles), not even Raph could help and Mikey was a baby, and Donnie got tired of Leoâs unreasonable behaviour and force feed him with pineapple and Leo accepted.
So when Leoâs orders pineapple pizza it reminds him of that time and how his twin loves him, even though he wonât say it out loud. Though that might not have been Donnieâs intention it show how he cares for his brother.
He is like a pineapple, prickly and rough on the outside, but sweet on the inside. (It can also be applied to Raph too, but let Donnie have this)

tbh, I also like pineapple pizza, or at least donât mind it. So shakes hand with Leo ig.
could also just be I think that red eared sliders like pineapple?? I think?? I could be wrong, I thought I heard it somewhere before that they like pineapple and so naturally Leo does to.
That or I think itâs funny that Leo eats pineapple to mess with Donnie who doesnât like it, to which he did to annoy his brother and eventually just actually loved pineapple on pizza.
