Dad, We were never close, which is strange considering everyone says I’m pretty much your clone. But foremost you were,are and will always be my Dad. Your the reason why I love music so much, always playing and singing the legends like David Bowie. Even taking me to see them live and teaching me that there’s nothing like the sound of a great album on vinyl. Your the reason for my love of Michael Jackson, and after 20 plus years (and a tattoo) you realised it wasn’t a phase. You were always there defending him with me and there to catch me when he passed. Your the reason why Kyle and I love Star Wars and lord of the rings. So much that we have this odd tradition of having to see the new Star Wars movies together -a must- And of course your daughter takes it further by reading and watching nothing but fantasy and sci-fi. Your one of the proudest Scotsman I know, and you not only made sure Kyle and I knew (and never forgot) where part of our blood came from. But you would make us proud to have Scottish blood running through our veins. From teaching us Scottish history to great Scottish food. And like a true Scotsman you fought, fought hard. It’s going to be strange not hearing you say “I need a wee nippy sweatie” and not coming home to you watching golf or on your way to go play golf. But I know we’ll see each other again on the Bonnie Banks of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Gràdh ort Siobhan

And they NEVER have signed books by international authors. I don’t wanna tough it now, wanna keep it in mint condition. But I really really wanna read it 😬
