gymternet asks
I’ve thrown in some personal questions and gym related questions, so we can have the (wait for it…) BEST OF BOTH WORLDS xoxoxo
1. Would you sell your soul for any gymnast to blitz it this year? If so, who? (note: if you’ve already tried selling your soul, assume that this is your first time again) 2. What’s your morning routine? (no shower detail necessary tho) 3. Which elite gymnast do you think you’d most be like? 4. Make a worlds team using Russia and USA 5. Tea or coffee? Why? 6. Are you a really busy person, or do you have a lot of free time? 7. Would you rather be coached by: Marta Karolyi or Alexandrov? 8. Is Brazil going to be a force to be reckoned with in 2016, with Alexandrov’s help? 9. What do you want to do/be when you grow up? (it’s a pretty open-ended question, please interpret freely) 10. If Larisa Iordache is Pikachu, what is Aliya Mustafina? 11. Do you think the champions of the past, like Commaneci and Silivas, if they’d been born at the same time as current gymnasts would still blitz the field? 12. What is the best trait a person can have/ the trait you most like to see in a person? 13. Who is the unluckiest gymnast of all time? 14. What sport do you do, how often, and why? Elaborate!!! :) We want to know you! 15. Make up your ideal gymnastics scoring system. 16. Should gymnasts be modest? 17. Is ballet training important for a gymnast? Why? 18. Do you love your body? (spoiler: YOU SHOULD GURLLL) 19. What do you think of religion? Is it abused and used for the wrong reasons? 20. Describe yourself in 5 lines or more. Be friendly, be loving, be outrageous, take a while with it. Include details you don’t think matter. Have fun with it.
Enjoy :)

Reblogging since JO Nationals start today!
Every J.O. nationals gymnast ranked based on their regionals scores.
If anyone’s into J.O. here’s a little bit about this weekend’s competition, which begins in like an hour. I also ranked everyone in each division by their regionals scores, so you can see a pretty good idea as to how things will work out. I love region 7 totally owning Junior C, thanks to North Stars, who qualified into 4 of the 7 spots in that division. Insane!
Awesome work, Lauren!

For those who want to see how little Ragan managed to mount the beam or just want to see the adorableness that is Ragan Smith.
The fact that this was only three years ago is mind boggling. She's really come a long way!
