If you've been to my offices, my homes, mu spaces throughout the past 30 years and if you know me, YOU KNOW. 1941-2021 I just snapped this pic today after reading about your passing last night. I still own the soft covers I read in middle school. I have moved around the world with your books. Even those under Rampling and Roquelaure. You were the first living author I admired at a very young age. I met you in my late twenties and was stunned into silence. I remember @omione73 had to speak for me because i was overtaken by your presence. You were kind, soft spoken and your smile generated light for days. Omar blessed you and you blessed him in return. Everyone has that all encompassing treasure deep in your soul that helped you overcome a trauma, a season, a moment of sadness that tends to linger. I think mine was Anne Rice. Her words were my escape, my safety, my peace and my comfort as a kid and then some...
