You know what I'm a slut for? When a character visibly drops a ruse. Like, the way their face changes the moment they give up a facade and reveal themselves.

This applies to revealing love, apathy, anger, evil intent. I mcfuckin love it.

what is holding you back?

the inability to see the good in yourself, therefore relying on others to provide it for you 

your heart is so full for the people you love. it's sweet, but you've now forgotten how to care for yourself. you only seem to see great things in the people around you. they're wonderful, and you... you don't like what you're seeing in yourself, right? you need to be reminded that you're enough. that you're talented. that you're worthy. that's partly the reason why you reach out so much. you need to hear it from the lips of someone "better" than you. but afterwards, it makes you feel even more guilty and upset. you feel like your actions are self absorbed. you're aiming for perfection because you see it in others. you're failing to see the flaws in everyone else. i promise, you're no monster. i could say this again and again, but will you believe me when i say you need to find it out for yourself?

          I knew I’d get to an AViVA one eventually. Her stuff always gets me thinking! ANTIHERO, specifically, for this ask. Minus L’s insistence on not being called a hero, I feel like my canon divergence has him going down the path of an antihero. He’s not a villain, by definition, but he’s also not a hero. He can and has done a lot of dumb stuff that would mostly be categorized as for his own benefit. Of course, a lot of it would be through his own words.

          ----- He just wants to let go. The castle’s not his home.

          I have a very...very old playlist for this mans. It’s titled the first blog’s URL, so I’m assuming it’s pretty old, but...yeah. When I found it a month or so ago, it only had 3 songs in it. This was one of them: Sakuzyo (削除) - Independent Puppet (Album: Pop Candy Wonderland) ~

          It didn’t take me very long to figure out why I put it in this playlist. It feels like boss music! It has the kind of...funky electric beat that would come from a Brobot fight, but I also get this sentimental feeling from the chimes and piano. It feels playful and childish, but also...distorted? Not to mention that title! Haha...ha. Very N.ieR: A.utomata.

          Oh. It’s Weeg Day? For some reason, he thought that was in July, but he’ll take any day to appreciate the self that didn’t get screwed over mentally. Cool!
