I’m FarraH and I’m a writer & performer based in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Though I’ve written lyrics and lyrical melody most of my life, this track was my first go at creating music as well, and GUESS WHAT………it probably sucks. Like, on a technical level—Suckville. But I don’t play one heckin’ instrument, never studied music theory, AND I made it in my basement using GarageBand + the built-in microphone of a prehistoric Mac computer. In sum; GOOD 4 ME.
The song is based on the character, Jareth, from Jim Henson’s “Labyrinth.“ I started it in the Spring of last year and abandoned it in June 2016. I returned to it in October 2017 and finished the track on October 9th, 2017.
