When you forget to save your map and ArcGis crashes

When I forget to store the relative paths

When all of your .zip files are taking forever to extract

To that one friend who always expects you to help them on their labs

Leaving your lab until the last minute

When you Dissolve incorrectly and remove the layer before anyone notices

When someone in lab asks you if the "define projection" and project" tools are the same thing

When you meet someone who does GIS too

How I feel when I have no idea what I'm doing, but it actually works out

When I run a tool, and I get pretty much the opposite of what I wanted

Pretending to do work..

When those little red exclamation points pop up

ArcGIS

when someone sits in MY seat in lab

When I'm waiting for a very temperamental tool to run

When it takes a century for ArcGIS to draw my map

When you find data but it isn't open source
