Peplum!!
How to get creative with your work wardrob? Peplum is the way to way. Weather it be something for work or for going out, peplum gives you a sleek look ready for any occasion. The simple and elegant design accentuates the waist and flares out. The style is very flattering and can be worn several ways.
Peplum dresses are all the rage like in the second group of images, the contrast peplum dress on the left is gorgeous with the white top and coral bottom. It also adds a bit of spunk to this simple black and white dress by Paprika.
Below are the Peplum tops, the one from Asos like the peplum dresses. This Darling Spot Mesh Sleeve Top in the middle, features a round neckline with a bow trim. The sheer sleeves with polka dot details sets it apart from the plain tops. A conceal zip fastens the top on the reverse. It is perfect for a night out. The Pins and Needles Peplum Top on the right adds a bit of color to the wardrobe. And finally the tan madeline Peplum Sweater is perfect for fall!
Happy Shopping!!
If you don't already know the man, (have you been living under a rock?) you should admire him in this solely for this sweater selection against the winter foliage. The man is not afraid to sport the pink. The Grammy Award Winner played at the Bank of America Pavilion at Boston recently and he blew everyone away!

Fall Trends: Baroque
What is fashion but an art of expression. This fall, a new trend, Baroque, has emerged featuring heavily ornate and decorated pieces. The trend is inspired by the intricate designs of the clothes worn by the royalty and nobility of the Baroque period. The period encompasses the 16th and 17th centuries a time at which monarchical rule was at its height and display of opulence and luxury was expected from these rulers. Paintings such as Artemisia Gentileschi's Lady Sitting in three quarters inspired Fall 2012 Runway looks of designers such as Dolce and Gabana (above, middle), Armani to Balman and Lavlin.

Buffalo Exchange!
Buffalo Exchange is a community oriented store that buys and sells and trades clothes. They take or sell most of their items in person within their store location communities. Sellers can bring in their items to a store to trade or for cash. The store buys clothes, shoes and accessories from the customers directly according to their desired needs and style of the specific location. They also have new merchandise at their stores. The company began at Arizona with Kerstin and Rebecca Block in 1974. Read their story here. Since then they have grown and spread to sixteen different states with forty three different stores. The locations include Boston, New York City to Dallas, New Orleans and San Francisco, Portland towards the west.
One of the perks of selling clothes there is that they give you cash the very same day usually a certain percent of what the clothes would sell for. Or you can trade for other clothes. Buyers choose from a variety of clothes hand picked by the staff. The clothes range from vintage, designers to basics. They have both men’s and women’s clothing for sale. The staff picks cater to every style to appeal to a broad audience. Many go to the stores to sell their clothes or to renew their wardrobe by trading.
Having shopped there myself, I can say for a fact that it is my favorite consignment store. I have found designer clothes for a part of what they cost and I can say about 20% of my clothes are from there. I found the not so cheap Cheap Monday Skinny Jeans for only $20. The Betsey Johnson Dress was also a great find. This Dress was also seen on Lauren Conrad (below). One of the difficulties with shopping here especially for jeans is you might now find the right fit. But with a large selection of clothes, shoes and jewelry, you’re likely to find something you like. Another factor is that you have to go in person to the stores unlike websites such as FashionHaunt and MyClozet which gives you the comfort of your own home to post your items. The stores also tend to be selective and will not buy things when the store is full.
