i think thirteeen would listen to this song when she's first found out about her diagnosis and is having a lot of one night stands
it's a good song (takes me back) but i wholeheartedly disagree. the song is about jerking off to your ex whilst you are lonely and sad. and that is NOT what thirteen is doing in the first ten episodes of house md season 5. i just. can't see her relating to this. i mean yes she fucks so many people but. she's isolated despite not being alone, unlike the song which is about being totally completely alone. thirteen does not match up with this song in my opinion.
(also i cannot see her listening to this kind of music sorry thirteen is a #partygirl in my heart)
yeah no she definitely listens to freaky ass music no doubt about that.
this is gonna be a veryy long rant. to be honest i will probably just combine what she would listen to at the time with present day music because timelines are BORING sometimes. this is also going to be a mix of albums + songs. that fit her
a little tl;dr though, thirteen doesn't seem like the niche type. she's mainstream-adjacent (queer mainstream imo?) but her music taste. isn't unpopular (this is due to the fact that she thinks she is wayyy more niche than she actually is). also i don't think that she listens to that much rock music. I also think that there's a difference between songs that fit her thematically, and songs that she would listen to. in that she doesn't listen to songs that fit her thematically but rather listens to songs that she thinks she's like because (imo) she lacks complete self-awareness (especially during party arc). that being said, i doubt that this is accurate and i think it is very hard to depict a character's music taste when. there is literally no grounds for it. we're grabbing at straws here.
