     Logan wasn’t one to brag, as she had a point. There would come a day when he’d stop his regeneration or the adamantium would wear away. Nothing was forever, no matter how permanent they seemed. He tongued the inside of his cheek to watch her walk, a kick of a smile on his lips.

     Diana’s jaw worked at the other’s comment. Any criticism wasn’t taken very well and didn’t sit well with her. She quickly unloads the quiver, arrows landing within the red center easily. The last one, though, she shoots at her company, not aiming for anything vital in case of a mishap. 

     ‘ Watch it. ‘ She isn’t aiming to hurt the other, just startle him a bit. She gives him a look as if to say, ‘ do you really need to ask, ’ but she just gives a nod and a quick reply. ‘ Mhm. ‘

     Another huff escapes her lip and she stomps across the yard to retrieve the arrows, briefly checking to make sure none of them are unusable. ‘ What weapon isn’t going to give out at some point? Arrows run out, guns run out of rounds, knives get dull, fists get cut. ‘

         he’s startled by the fact that not only could she hear him, but she was commenting on it — luckily not his voice, but at the lyrics of the jingle.           ❛ it’s named after a town, isn’t it ?? ❜ he asks. ❛ i mean, it’s italian. i’m not even sure if we’re pronouncing it right as far as that goes. i’m almost certain it’s supposed to be pronounced more like bo-lo-nyeh. ❜

         she doesn’t exactly have the best singing voice, so really, who is she to judge the boy on his ??

         ‘ is it ??  i don’t really know. i just know it’s a funky meat that i’m not really sure is meat. i mean what really is in it ?? regardless of how it’s supposed to be pronounced, it’s weird and i refuse to eat any of it. ‘
