During a mission, he blocks a deadly blow from hitting Artoria, but is knocked out in the process. The block however opens an opportunity to counterattack for Artoria. Horde of wyvern and kobolds began to attack us, we were cornered from all direction, out of them, their leader, king wyvern was strangely stronger than we anticipated, yet it sent its minions and they were huge in number, Alter Artoria slayed them one by one, sometimes you wondered how you were able to summon her, nevertheless you were grateful to have such a strong Lancer alter class protecting you.

Her spear shone with black light and her enemies began to fall one by one, calmness done her face and her every movements were graceful.

The last boss was sly, oh so sly, to attack at Lartotia from her blind spot when she was fighting the enemies, you were able to realize it in the nick of the time, and your body moved on it's own, you shielded her from the king wyvern's tail slash, due to the impact you were sent flying,but you were able to protect her.

Lartoria thrusts her spear at the wyvern's throat and dealt a finishing blow

She quickly went to your side

-Are you okay, master? She inquired with firm voice along with worried tone

-well, i hope so...you groaned, because damn, that hurt more than you thought, and after falling it just made you sore all over

-Master, if it weren't for your combat mystic code, you would have been slashed into two, she reprimanded you

- i know, that's why i jumped, you lied, she stared at you with her cold eyes, but sighed and pulled you up

-master, next time let me protect you, she said with a genuine caring voice

And it was all worth it, the pain, the ache and the constant throbbing it was all worth it.
