Fun fact: did ya know?

That reindeer eyes shift from gold in the summer to a deep blue in the winter. I am unsure if this applies to monster’s who are also reindeers though.

(Fun Fact: Back in the earlier days, when the AU was still called "Asgore Adopts Noelle", her 2nd design did have her eyes swap between gold and blue/purple. But when she entered her 3rd design I decided to drop that idea. Wouldn't have really been able to apply that in a game, anyways. But here's how it did look when I was doing it.)

Asgore Dreemurr is the King of the Underground, and has been since the monsters were sealed away in the Underground for thousands of years. Originally Asgore had a wife, Toriel, and they had two children together; Asriel, their biological son, and Chara, the fallen Human they adopted. Unfortunately, one day Chara died, and Asriel tried to bury them on the surface, only for them to be murdered by Humans. In his rage, he declared war on Humanity, which drove his wife away, but restored hope in his people. Asgore would come to hate his decision as for many thousands of years, he would be lonely and miserable as he had to slaughter children who had fallen into his kingdom. Then one day, another tragedy struck his Kingdom; a massive explosion destroyed the homes of hundreds of Monsters, and took many of their lives. However, one monster who did survive was little Noelle Holiday. Asgore, not wanting to see another child's life ruined, decided to adopt her as his own. Despite his daughters quirks, Asgore is proud of her. He treats her as if she were his own flesh and blood. He thinks she is the future of Monster kind, and that she will grow up to be one of the greatest Monsters of all time. On her 18th birthday, he will retire as King of the Monsters, and hand over the title, and the duties that come with it, over to her.
