This is what I have to wear when caring for Covid positive patients on ITU. It's hot, is heavy, claustrophobic and a necessary evil to protect myself and my loved ones. But I Don this everyday so I can help save lives of patients from all walks of life, all ages and all backgrounds and I try to do it with a smile! (even if that smile is a little wonky and tired!) At the end of the day I'm so tired I can barely walk, I'm in pain, emotionally exhausted. I go home, barely have the energy to hug my husband, sleep and only have to go do it all again the next day. But you know what? I'm doing what I love. I'm not very well, constant cough, fatigue, fever and general plague🤒🤒🤒🤒. So I'm on 7 days isolation and 14days isolation for my husband. Feeling rather sorry for myself.
