This is a roleplay blog centered on the character of Father Enoch Farrier, a catholic priest with ulterior motives living in 1680s France (currently). Posts are mostly in character as Enoch, or his student Ambrose. I am in a relationship and am only interested in explicitly in-character roleplay, which is limited to a quick back-and-forth in asks, and extended narrative roleplay pre-discussed outside of this blog. I'm not starting any new longer-form roleplay.

Advice for beginner exorcists make sure you’re dressed nice and look pretty so if you fail to exorcise the demon he won’t be too harsh on you and will rather see you as a little whore who’s put up a show for his amusement before the main course.

It’s more of a worry with the evangelical types, but I’ve had some concerned couples approach me about the husband’s supposed porn addiction lately. A few times a week is usually all it takes before a couple will come speak to me in private about how to help deal with such a terrible sin. My offer has been to use one of those new so-called accountability apps, which allow me to see what the husband searches for. Makes it less stressful on his wife, having to see when it does come up, and adding the extra embarrassment of a third party. They’ll usually agree for the sake of an already strained marriage.

A few days after the meetings, the history will usually be rather chaste. It’s a week or so in that I start to see what the men are watching. Lots of boring stuff, generic porn site front-page videos. But there will always be a few with more interesting taste. Hardcore fetishes, bondage, and my favorite to see, gay videos. A supposedly straight, married man getting off to gay porn. Nothing is better.

I’ll call the husband to see me the next day, show him what I saw. They always try to deny it, but they can’t argue with concrete proof. Then comes the begging, the pleading to keep it secret from the wife. Oh, I’ll keep it secret. So long as he gets on his knees.

Many who come to my church aren't here for religion. For some it's the architecture, or the garden, but for others, there may be a certain pull. They come in not knowing what they want, what they need. Usually I offer something to drink, the wine made at the monastery. There's something quite special about it, an herbal taste. It tends to open people's minds up. Then we can talk. It's easy to worm people in to the conversation I want.

I do not accept drinks or food from others, and even you couldn't persuade me. But I'd let you lead the conversation quite easily, being fairly laid back on the surface (it's a act). It's also because I have no idea what pulled me here. liable to cause people to doubt their beliefs without answering questions about my own beliefs, but I'm polite, I try not to.

Of course, you probably don't need herbal things to lure me into the conversation you want. Opening my mind up, now that would be a challenge. Are you capable of that? If not, well, there's loads of ways to drug someone who doesn't suspect you to be trying to and who would probably treat it as a game if he did. - 🧭

When someone declines I know they're usually a bit tougher to get, less likely to succumb to social pressure or hierarchy. Makes it more fun for me. Perhaps to the front room of the rectory, then. Somewhere more intimate, quiet, secret. It's a short little walk from the church itself, but lots of interesting things on the way. The monastery becomes visible, as does the graveyard, the garden, one of the monks' cats skulking by the trees. Inside, plenty of books, an astrolabe, lots of herbs and a mortar and pestle spread out on a tabletop. What most catches your eye that you've seen? Perhaps that can tell me what you're here for. Attention can be rather revealing.

But it'll come back to asking this, no matter what direction it comes from: were you always without faith, or did you lose it?

what kink is most on your mind at the moment?

Breeding, I think. It really claims the other person, makes them mine, filled so completely with me. And of course, it has to be secret. Everyone is far more likely to believe they're the harlot, not the upstanding leader of the parish.

Is invoking a demon into someone's body always so brutal, or does it depend on the demon's power - and would it be any easier if the demon had already been summoned and moves into the victim's body through possession, if that's possible? And is it the same for spirits? I'm curious about how all that is meant to work, now

It depends more on the personality of the demon and the spirit of the victim, in my experience. Some demons truly love the brutality of taking over someone else's body, others see it as more utilitarian, not wanting to harm the host. Some people are also more vulnerable to possession. They may have a weaker spirit or constitution, and the possession itself weakens the victim, making it easier for the demon to reenter.

19. how innate do you think your kinks are?

Well, I think there is some part of me that is inherently deviant. It's what drove me to peer through books I shouldn't have as a child, that led me to get punished. A lot of it was trained into me, though. My punishments always came after indulging in the secret pleasures of my books. Pairing such secrecy, pleasure, and pain together over and over left a mark on me, I'm sure.

27. how fun and whimsical is your kink?

It's most important that it's fun for me. Many of my congregation genuinely hold fear of God in their hearts. Much less whimsical for them.

10. does kink help you process difficult feelings?

If what Father and I do counts as kink, then I suppose so. He's how I connect with God, and feeling God's love brings me peace. Even when Father is a little mean about it.

20. how much have you interrogated what kinks you enjoy?

I don't know...thinking about all those things too hard makes my head feel fuzzy. Almost like I'm not supposed to think about it. I just know that it makes me feel good.

19. how innate do you think your kinks are?

I think it's a good mix. I did a research project in undergraduate about how sexuality is conditioned, and it seems like some things are more solid and some things are more fluid. Personally, a lot of my kink I feel comes from my autism and general personality. I like rigid rules and structure in play, I have intense interest in things relating to eroticism, religion, etc, and I'm fairly neurotic and like to be in control. Some things came about from exposure or individual experiences, but I feel like they wouldn't have stuck without that layer of my personality.

27. how fun and whimsical is your kink?

It tends to be very lighthearted. Despite being dominant, I'm very gentle with my partner and it's always rooted in feeling good. We also joke a lot about sex and kink so we never take it too too seriously.

And that’s the trouble with holy men isn’t it? Even when it feels heavenly, they’re thinking of hell. what's the most caring thing someone can do for you?

Assisting in the mundane things I often forget to do. I am often preoccupied and get too caught up in rituals, work, all sorts of things, to remember simple things such as cooking.
