— ⁰⁰¹. eleven: disappointment hung in the air, almost palpable. the object remained fixed on the table. though his voice NEVER rose above a soft-toned level it was there, always there. judgement. ' unacceptable no. 11, ridiculous. you've moved it right off of the table before, how can you not do this now? yesterday you were doing so well.. ' standing ( LOOMING ) over the child he stood behind her; mannerisms ominous. what the experiment had failed to realize ( or perhaps she had? ) the object, the small round gray ball had been glued to the tabletop this time.
' again. try it again. how many times must you fail this, no. 11? before finally getting it right. ' an exasperated sigh.
@duelworlded
--- ⁰⁰¹. ???: the case file on this young woman had been less than informative. no name had been given as of yet. currently he had been waiting on information from another branch of the government after testing a fingerprint sample.
‘ hello, my name is doctor brenner. ‘ scanning the child ( possible experiment ) the cool exterior seemingly melted into a more warm? expression. ‘ ..and i’m here to help. you’ve been found wandering the grounds, a bit bizarre for a young lady to do at this ungodly hour. is there anyone i can call to come collect you? father? mother? ‘ fishing.

Eleven chooses HER FRIENDS not her papa
↳ “Mike..”
their entire operation had been exposed after the leak ( break out ) of his most favored experiment no. 11. there was much to do, months of money exchanging hands for silence, for the ability to remain concealed, for them to simply continue but he along with others had managed.
agents surround the small diner ( dive? ) 4819 randolph lane in this insignificant town. they keep themselves concealed as best they can as a swath of them open up as martin brenner enters, there are people inside though sparse. booths remain open but hardly inviting for an outsider such as he.
seating himself in an open booth he glanced off to the side towards the man behind the counter, a familiar face. file no. 1. -- BENNY HAMMOND MALE. encountered before after his EXPERIMENT had run off. said encounter had turned violent and necessary actions had been taken. one shot to the shoulder, enough to wound but not maim.
‘ excuse me, sir? i’d like a word please. ‘
@decentsoul
– PAPA ??? – YES. IT’S YOUR PAPA. YOU’RE SICK, BUT I’M GOING TO MAKE YOU BETTER.
--- bleached; the entire world he lived in had the sanitary smell of bleach. though, he supposed, it wasn’t just the stink of it. the nearly empty room appeared almost washed out. all manner the color white decorated the area. the light above bore down on the young girl ( experiment ), putting the child within the harsh gas-bright spotlight.
judgement now it was TIME. ‘ i’d like to let this pass, no. eleven, i truly would. ‘ like a terrestrial shark he swam through air filled with tension. blood was in the water and he could TASTE it, HUNGERED for it. the experiments could continue. ‘ but i’m afraid with your ANTICS you’ve put us behind schedule. what would you have me do? ‘ standing ( LOOMING ) behind the other, one palm rest across bony shoulder in a grip that accentuated the threat. a smile curdled by anger, tone remained saccharine sweet.
@experimcnt
are you ready to resume?
@fatherfiigure
back where it all had started. had it all been for nothing? the escape, the lives lost and perhaps the nightmares brought to a group of young boys that she had coined as her friends. all of it had led back to this - back to where she had tried so hard to escape from. a man that she had tried so hard to leave – papa.
her hands shook, heart quickening in her chest; reminiscent of a small bird trapped behind a cage and desperately trying to make it’s way free and back into a world free of bared cages and prodding fingers. a world that was no longer meant for a girl like her - a weapon.
there was no part of her that felt as if she could go on with this, that she could resume the project of a malicious man who had raised her since birth in the confines of a white laboratory room. knowing now what lay outside those walls had made it impossible for her to see anything good about being here. impossible to see anything good about him.
“no more, papa.
no more.”
i apologize, i wasn’t listening. what was that?
❛ but it sounds to me as though you're picking and choosing what parts of the bible conform to YOUR needs. you go against the bible and its' teachings on how homosexuals are lesser creatures, how they've sinned against god and should be put down but in this instance. however when it suits YOU harmon.. ❜ allowing that moment to sit he paused before continuing on. a hand lifts slightly, fingers spread as he motions towards the church itself. ❛ in the instance of purge night you've taken it upon yourself to become judge jury and executioner to the human race or i suppose perhaps a better term would be, you've decided to ' play god ' as it were. something the bible disagrees with in more than one passage, - Luke 6:37 Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. - with that in mind you can see my confusion can you not? ❜
moving right by the slim man brenner headed directly towards the sanctuary floor that rest below the altar. the crucifix hung above, a reminder of human frailty, of their penchant to sin, their failure to the lord god. all the while he spoke, he continued to gaze at the humbled christ, ❛ purge night is barbaric, it goes against the ability for the human race to move forward academically. instead of focusing on scientific advancements, our year is consumed by this ridiculous farce. ❜ disgust rest in his tone. finally turning to face harmon, a finger wagged, chiding. ❛ there it is again, your need to judge. what makes you right and they wrong? those people you slaughter, how is it you are able to ..as you put it, take your anger out on those that you DEEM unpure, why can't they do the same to you? as you say, we all are flawed, all have sinned. when will it be your turn to suffer? ❜ taking a step closer towards the other, invading his personal space the doctor offered an almost predatory smile.
❛ you're backing the wrong team i'm afraid. these people? these hypocrites would no sooner leave you to rot here, your talents, your loyalty wasted while i can use a man like you. i can use your full potential in a way these close-minded ignorants have yet to fathom. ❜
✞ FATHERFIIGURE :
the farmhouse had left much to be desired, as did the church abutting said property. a lutheran church no less. the farmhouse itself had been largely ignored for the time being and as the doctor brenner exited the car, door shutting quietly behind him the entirety of his fearsome focus lay solely on the dilapidated church. any oddity, anything unusual or oft whispered about goings-on had attracted his kind. the dark suited, dark cars replete with tinted windows, the no-named government workers.
he had come for the children after hearing backwater rumor tainting the truth he had come to find out for himself just exactly what was going on.
another car sidled up to his own, in total six men had surrounded him. protection, or muscle if need be. with a look he stalled their approach to said church and brenner continued forward on his own; for now. standing outside of the modest establishment he waited for a moment. ❛ is anyone at home? ❜
@familicide
Who is this somebody skulking around expectantly ( calling out to the GHOSTS that inhabit this desecrated ground ) as if knowing a response awaits him? As if he knew the happenings of what went on here? The only men in suits were church - goers and mourners, but they’re a faded memory. The Jacobs family slaughtered in such a GROTESQUE art form it rivaled devilry ( similarly to Gilles De Rais ), two boys missing and a man BURNED like a heretic upon the flame - eaten crucifix —— A monument for morbid curiosity maybe, but to Westminster, this place is Hell’s gaping MAW.
Milo cracked the front door open, hinges groaning, and pale face veiled by a black screen. Skin ice COLD even on a day nearing the high nineties. ❛ I’m home. ❜ He murmured from beyond the mesh, alluding to a lack of OTHER company. ❛ The house isn’t for sale and the church never had its renovations completed. It’s a real mess in there. So, if you’re looking to buy, now isn’t a good time. But you don’t really look like you’re here for that. ❜
the history of this gutted out parcel of land was incredible. the extreme violence, the astounding level of HATRED spawned from such acts normally caused turbulence within the DEAD ZONE, weakening the barrier between two worlds. was this another portal? if so the entire compound would soon be his. as the door opened, doctor brenner appeared nonplussed however one or two of the burly minions behind him took a step forward. with a glance over his shoulder he halted the advancement of the others with a brief shake of his head. according to their resources there the property had been vacant since the atrocities linked to it. could this be one of the haunted souls that lingered? could that be possible? a full body apparition in the middle of day? how spectacular! or perhaps simply a homeless child lost in the desolation of this backwater town.
either way the child was clever, alert and attentive to the stranger at his door. ❛ you would be correct mister..? ❜ with a slight bow of his head in greeting he made no move to enter the home forcibly. ❛ are you the man of the house or are your parents available? ❜ the question was asked with an almost sly note. ❛ either way i'm doctor brenner and i have a few questions for the owner of the property. ❜
awestruck he made no motion to cover up such an incredulous appearance. first and foremost he was a scientist, a doctor, curiosity drove him to do the unspeakable but it was for the greater good ( at least that was what he had told himself ) it was for the advancement of humankind. for the answers he craved so desperately. ❛ your soul? ❜ eyes never left the small animal or at least that was what he perceived it to be even after such a bombastic revelation. ❛ how is that possible? ❜ respecting her wishes as the creature easily lept up to her chair he eased back in his own, allowing it some room.
❛ all of your people have this sort of.. manifestation? are they of the same creature? or varying species? how.. ❜ a brief pause as he tried to collect himself. ❛ how can you be so certain that this being holds your human soul? ❜ voice lowered into almost a whisper, all too fascinated with this entire situation. the urge to dissect such a creature, experiment upon it was impossible to ignore, though he would never. knowing just how ..valuable these creatures were to this society. unless..
❛ mrs coulter you .. ❜ how could he phrase this, not wanting to impose, ' do you study these beings? have you tested them? not yours in particular of course but perhaps you have ah.. ❜ with a roll of his hand he fumbled for the correct terminology. ❛ .. participants back where you live that ... ❜ another brief pause. ❛ ...offer up their souls for study? and if so what type of experiments do you perform, what information have you gained or are you trying to gain from them? ❜

PAINFULLY LOUD SCREAMS filled 000′s ears as she struggled against the hands on her body; pulling her from her bed and out of her room, not yet realising those screams belonged to her. The little girl had experienced this before, had gone through this process before, and was greatly aware of what would follow she had GIVEN UP on hoping for a different outcome.
The girl was forcibly sat down on a hard, cold, metal chair. A handful of tears reluctantly rolled over dried older ones, which were still slightly visible on her young too young facade. A pair of big hazel eyes, filled with HURT AND EXHAUSTION, looked up at the man who had his back turned to her. Quickly, 000 angrily wiped away the few tears, awaiting what would be asked of her today.
despite the cries, the struggles he had kept his back towards the child for a few moments longer. when he finally turned to face her he absently waved the orderlies back and they did so without comment. ❛ good morning my dear, are you ready for today? the rude awakening was necessary as you've been slacking lately. your test results less than stellar and failure.. ❜ a breath as his head shook once. ❛ failure is not an option in my lab i'm afraid. you're going to have to try harder and while i see the potential in you, i also see you squandering it. wasting it. i won't allow that. ❜ a threat though mild, was still a threat.
❛ now. ❜ glancing towards the lone table in the room he eyed the cinder-block that rest upon it. ❛ papa needs you to move that block, to lift it. can you do that for him? ❜ no physical contact, no reassuring touch, not yet. not until he saw what the girl could / would do.
