Hi I'm back have several of my disorganized headcanons about Danny "Jed Olsen" "Ghostface" Johnson, straight from the notes app:

* Gets like no sleep. This man is 85% coffee and his eye bags are Gucci

* Enjoys the occasional cigarette (chewed pens kind of point to an oral fixation - he likes Newports because he's an asshole)

* Learned about weapons (especially tactical knives) from his dad

* Killed his dad in senior year of high school (he was 17 - late birthday)

* Big scorpio + virgo energy (probs a november scorp)

* Has severe insomnia but just thinks he needs less sleep than everyone else

* Uni applications had already gone out before that fateful hunting trip with his dad, so he was really just severing his ties to Utah since he had applied out of state

* His mom took care of him up until his dad got back from war (possibly discharged), then dipped and he never saw her again

* He looks pretty different from his driver's license photo since it was taken when he was 16 - his dad made him keep his hair short and he had a fresh cut on his forehead (now it's a scar), but as an adult his hair is shaggier and he occasionally wears reading glasses

* Pre-Entity, his eyes were a medium, pretty brown, but in the realm, they have a weird red sheen to them that's more visible when reflecting light (like a flashlight), or, creepier, when viewed in your periphery

Anyway I'm Very Normal about him tell me ur thoughts about him

aaa i love ur idea of danny's eyes being red. but i raise u: him having a permanent "camera flash" effect! like him having a more intense tapedum lucidum or smth. it's like he's a ghost caught in a photograph.

since u mentioned him having rlly short hair it reminded me of my hc of his hair actually been grown from a buzzcut/close-crop, giving him the illusion of layered-shaggy hair.

it's always been smth that's more of a personal touch of mine but i always favored the idea of him looking a little bit like his mask/more ghostly. it's like a in-universe foreshadowing. think thinner/hollower cheeks, a longer face or sad/downturned eyes.

the glasses i feel like would be from him staring too much at screens as a child (me too) or from forcing his vision in the dark and him forcing the jed persona. it'd prolly be the rectangular ones or horn-rimmed. but he doesn't rlly use them unless he's using his jed-cosplay.

it may be the TMAG brainrot but he gives me hella web vibes. at first i thought abt eye but he's more of a 'aspiring writer' than a reader. and also cause... entity is spider. his dad is slaughter-coded no duh

jed dressses like a bg character from friends and talks like those "working hard or hardly working" guys at your job. bro is so normal it feels like a caricature.

short-ish sentences w/o a lot of substance

his speech pattern would 'prolly be filled with filler words like, everywhere, my guy. 'yanno?

danny's more long-winded and more stream of thoughts. very bitter, very dramatic. more experimental and with strong imagery. definitely uses it as his writing-style. got his speech pattern from his dad.

but unlike someone, danny would only use some filler words but mostly use rhetorical questions or use passive-aggressiveness. which you totally already have known that, right?

his mom left to buy choccy milk at the (period appropriate)-mart (false, she ran away with the milkman)

I think Dead by Daylight should add a new killer that is literally just a normal regular gorilla. I think adding a gorilla would be a perfect addition to dbd. You shouldn't even have to hook survivors as the gorilla, its whole thing should be that if the survivors look the gorilla directly in the eye you get to instantly beat the shit out of them until they die

I cannot stress enough that it cannot be a monster gorilla in any way. No understandable dislogue, No like nasty flesh monster bits, its head doesn't split open into a big mouth like a Venus Flytrap, like that's cool but you can save that for the other killers. I need this new killer to be an entirely normal regular gorilla that just kind of showed up one day and doesn't interact with the primary gameplay loop at all
