I always hit the jackpot with You. (at Wind River Ranch In Colorado)
Sometimes when God opens a door, you say yes as things fall perfectly into place, and within 48hrs you are headed to a Christian dude ranch in Colorado for the next week to serve soldiers and their families. What an amazing opportunity to serve at Wind River Ranch for their Wounded Warrior/Helping Heroes week, and I am so thrilled to see what God has in store. This was what we found when we drove up to the ranch last night. His promises are sure. His goodness goes beyond what we even can fathom. (at Wind River Ranch In Colorado)

This was me just a couple weekends ago. I just sold my first fixer-upper, my first home, all on my own. I never would have imagined buying a house by myself at the age of 23, renovating it myself (with any help I could get out of my amazing cousins😉), and selling it just 2.5 years later. I am so thankful for all that I have learned both in life and in the Lord over these past few years. Right now, in my "in-between" time of wrapping up this season of life and moving on into another full of so many unknowns, I cannot describe the assurance I have from resting in His promises. This time last year, before I was even done with renovations, the Lord placed on my heart the timing for my house to sell: May. As it neared, I became so aware of my lack of control in selling the house: who wanted to see it, who wanted to make an offer, how their financing would go through, etc. Literally, I could not control any of it, other than accepting someone's offer. Yet, the house sold and I moved out in May, after accepting an offer within 24hrs of putting my house for sale by owner online in April--the same time the Lord had said a year earlier. Y'all, God is so faithful, even when we aren't. While selling the house was great (ok, really great🙌🏼), what excites me more is knowing I get to journey onward with Him. No check, no matter how big, can give me more joy than knowing Him and getting to walk with Him through all of these seasons. They will surely change, but His love never will. I am thankful.
Grace looks like your life producing something better than what you produced before you knew you believed in Jesus.
Excited to hang a piece of @clareelsaesser's beautiful work in my home. Every time I look at this, it makes me think of holding onto and embracing the Presence of God. 😍
This shouldn't be news for anyone, but in case you aren't already: follow @joannagaines // @magnoliamarket // @magnoliahomestx ! AND check out the show on HGTV #FixerUpper! You are welcome in advance, because I know you won't be sorry!! 😉
I happen to be a sucker for some well-done brick floors. I found these via Jackson Built custom homes. What do y'all think? [jacksonbuilthomes.com]
