Love how Peacemaker is essentially just fanfic. Not in the sense that it’s a self insert but in the sense that James Gunn saw the worst guy of all time in TSS and went ‘noooooo you don’t understand him like I do, he’s my sad little meow meow and his dad sucked and he was born in a cardboard box’. (And then the Salvation cliffhanger is him abandoning the fic. Or like when you read a fic and it continues in another series but that series is a crossover with Superman)
