Why hating on VGK?

I'm a Pens fan so don't keep an eye/ear out on VGK since Flower left the team, so I'm genuinely asking, why are we hating on them? I like the Canes cuz they defeated the Flyers but now I'm wondering who to cheer on and see a lot of VGK hate. Someone tell me the tea please.

Heated Rivalry jersey

I've got a question for HR fans who've gotten one of the jerseys from the official webstore. Is the quality and fit good and worth the $150? I've got a real NHL jersey that I got for less than that and I really want a Rozanov jersey (I do want a Hollander jersey too but I don't want Metros' colors) but can't justify the cost right now 🥲.

Are there other legit sellers who also sell jerseys at a lower cost maybe?

Maybe Im just not meant to watch Pens games on tv cuz everything seems to be going wrong. I need to be at the actual game in my Malkin jersey because every game I've attended in my jersey, the Pens have won and I have proof!!

I've had this in my watchlist for a while and finally started it yesterday. Its currently midnight right now and I just finished it. I was crying!!!! Such a good show, the music is a-ma-zing!!!! I was sad the final episode just ended like that but it was a satisfactory ending. Of course now I've gotta go on AO3 to fill the void from the show being over but no regrets.

Also, did Takeru Satoh's acting at times remind anyone of him as Kenshin in the Kenshin movies?😂😂

HR Ep. 4 fic recs!

I'm currently on my "i don't even know at this point" rewatch of Heated Rivalry and just got my heart broken again by Shane getting scared and wanting to leave Ilya's house and Ilyas' 'Hollander' and I desperately need fic recs where Ilya does convince Shane to stay. Whether it be that he feels Shane tense up after they say each others' names and doesn't let him get up, that he says more after that 2nd 'Hollander', confesses, whatever. I need fic recs please, please.

So i have a headcanon that Ilya looks like his mom more. And his brother was always jealous she seemed to favor Ilya more and so after she passed, Alexei was reminded of that each time he looked at Ilya. Same with his dad.

Idea for a fic

So I'm watching ep5 of Heated Rivalry for the 5th time today (totally normal right 😅) and Ilya just shared his feelings in Russian to Shane. And I had an idea for a possible fic which I'm not writing cuz I don't think I could do Ilya/Shane justice. But the idea:

Shane actually does know some Russian at this point? Like what if because of how he's been feeling and maybe I don't know, wanting to one day surprise Ilya during a hookup by saying some sexy Russian words, Shane has actually been learning Russian when he can. And he can understand some of it, like maybe not yet conversational but some. And so when he suggests to Ilya and says "i might not understand but it might help", he doesn't just mean that he won't 100% understand what words and phrases Ilya is saying but because he isn't Russian himself he wouldn't understand the full meaning/feeling behind what Ilya may say in regards to like his family and country. So he's able to capture a bit of what Ilya is saying and because he's realized that he does really like Ilya, he did learn words of love and missing and wanting so he does understand Ilya's confession. But of course he doesn't say he understood because he knows Ilya isn't ready to really say it to him so of course he's going to wait for Ilya to hopefully one day be able to say it to him on purpose.
