i went to a convention recently for the first time in years and it was oddly really nice to be right in the middle of the age range of people there ;u;

i got to meet people who were really new to fandom, people sorta in the middle like me, and people who have been in it for basically as long as i've been alive haha

i was super young compared to most people around me when i first got into homestuck and i always felt like an odd duck at conventions <u<

okay i'm looking for a very specific old (like 2012-2013) homestuck video and an accompanying fanfic. it's such a shot in the dark but i'm wondering if anyone remembers this?

it was a story where a bunch of the beta trolls somehow end up stranded at the dark carnival. gamzee was the ringleader of course, and nepeta was his evil little assistant. i don't remember much of what actually happens except that nepeta saws tavros's horns off (ahh!! scary!!!)

the video was on youtube and was like a short montage of the trolls set to eerie carnival music. i think it was called "carnivalstuck"

i haven't been able to find it for ages so i'm wondering, does anyone here remember this? even vaguely? it was really good i want to find it again!!!
