BACKGROUND

django was born in spain to a not-too-well-off family -- just to say the least. they did their best to scrape by, but he found himself the eldest between six siblings -- thus, the amount of family he possessed ? ...it didn’t help all too much...

with the amount of jobs his mother and father took up, django -- stereotypically -- took on the role of makeshift caretaker. a lot to place on a boy’s shoulders, but he wanted the family to thrive just as much as they did. and while they were working for monetary thriving, he was working for emotional.

but that didn’t last long -- he, too, took up a role in monetary gain. only he was too young to pick up any jobs, and very few people trusted that cadona kid with odd jobs. so he became what they feared he was: a young con artist, a young thief.

all the money he raked in, he raked in for his family. and it was beginning to become... enough to get by. as his siblings grew up and began finding their own ways, his family did not become rich by any means, but they were able to live a borderline normal life.

but, as django grew older, he became more invested in greed. to the point that a rich man he’d conned, pretending to be the son he had lost ten years ago -- a case he had studied and become, offered to take him back to america.

he played the role of this man’s son for three years, sending some money back to his family and keeping some of the rest, until he made one slip-up that cost him the role. then, he was off before he could be caught.

and let it be known that this was just one of the many imposture acts he committed -- the only difference between this and the others was that it somehow lasted for years, it brought him to a new continent entirely, he earned a great deal of wealth on a daily basis for doing nothing... and, most interesting, had brought the son back into existence. twilight zone !

some years later, he began socializing with some of the crew who would form unsolved. between his past, his voice, and his overall charismatic demeanor, he earned the role as a presenter. a role that allowed him to make money in a legal fashion and rub shoulders with some of the... wealthier members.

he is trying to worm his way in that group by schmoozing with 25 and others. 28 is a happenstance casualty along the way, unfortunately finding himself forming a genuine bond with someone when all he wants to do is rake the group across the coals.

django shook his head -- trying, trying, trying to follow the words of his mother. he was not usually one quick to anger, not usually one quick to raise a fist, but it had been too long since spain -- too long since he had had to simply accept disrespect, lest something worse come around. “ not a fan of a math variable laying disrespect upon my name. ” mx’s last name would be one thing, but his first name ? ...django didn’t take that to be especially relevant -- especially meaningful to his roots. “ you are fucking intolerable. ”

Would you be making a shirtless cameo? You could replace The Rock.”

“ never took you for the pinterest type, man, ” he started, air of a joke surrounding his words. because, in this section, he isn’t pissed off yet ! but now, in what would normally be a new paragraph but may is trying to tame herself, he would be ! the name was more than a family heirloom -- one of the few things they had left as an identifier besides pieces of a language and insults of a stereotype. what’s in a name ? -- sometimes shakespeare was wrong. -- now, it seemed to be of innocent ‘fun’ and curiosity on mx’s side... nothing yet. his mother’s voice telling him it wasn’t worth it -- to not become the insult of a stereotype. hold back. he simply took a step forward, jaw clenched, and replied, “ if you drop this game now, so will i. ”

A dossier of being a child prodigy and an adult disappointment. “ i’m sure god above would strike you down if you interfered with his good samaritan. ” nothing funnier than the hive mind coming to the most clichéd conclusion ! if they ‘solved’ this, would they, too, be good samaritans ? -- however, such thoughts of mild amusement were... tossed aside upon hearing the other’s question. “ if i were to... ” he had actually swapped names many times -- over three years of pretending to be the son of an aristocrat had found him accustomed to the name ‘sebastian’ -- but his name, for all the media bastardization it got, was sometimes all his family had to hold onto. the heritage he had to hold onto. sort of like jeffcock from the iconic unfriended: dark web, only ‘django’ has actual, like, genuine historic merit. “ brother, i sincerely hope this is some sort of shit question you ask everyone. ”

The touch to the shoulder didn’t actually register, Cash didn’t mind being touched in general, he was used to being surrounded by people who often wanted to be all over him in the casual sense of the term. The pet name didn’t settle as well but it was quickly forgotten as he dramatically reacted to the seeming accusation. “Woah, woah, woah, slow down there. I’m not bullying her, I’m standing up for an innocent victim. I’m a man of God, I have a sixth sense for shady people… I can feel the darkness in her soul,” and all from a single photograph! He really was great at this mystery solving thing.

django could never fully tell if the ‘man of god’ persona was exaggerated or real. there was an assumed... mixture of the two, which really did nothing but make it all the more annoying. truth or illusion, cash ? thus, with a partial exasperated sigh, he replied, “ you did just call her ‘shady.’ the word does say to respect the dead, no ? treat them how you treat the living ? ” ...god, he needed to give this a damn break.

Beginning to realise that he might have hit the blunt too hard that night as he sat in the abandoned camera trailer… a place he had no reason to be other than finding the internet signal was particularly good, he looked around on edge. Dark eyes scoured the room as he turned off his Jaime French movie review of Old which was surprisingly chilling considering how humorous he’d found the actual movie. Never trust a new dealer. As he walked out the door of the trailer and saw something, a feral adjacent look in his eye as he shone his phone torch around, “You don’t think someone’s going to kill us, do you? What if we have a mysterious us crash and get disappeared into the air… or ate by Jolly Jerry?” Was he actually concerned? Probably not but it was a truly real moment of fear.

the job was good, the pay was lucrative, and there were people around that he could use to advance his status -- in a much more legal way than imposture. but some of the beliefs the others held ? yes, he believed in aliens. it made logical sense. the universe was infinite. no, he did not believe in alien abductions. and his luck -- his luck to run across one of the conspiracy theorists as he walked from the day’s trailer to his car... but, for once, there was actually an excellent theory ! even if his agreement was accompanied by a laugh ! “ i must say, i wouldn’t be surprised if our buddy jer-bear were a cannibal -- it’s always the ‘good samaritans,’ yes ? ”

He hadn’t seen her, spoken to her or even heard of her before but it seemed absolutely rude how everyone was judging her just for being popular. “I just think it’s pretty narrow minded of you all to pin Vienna as a villain. django furrowed his eyebrows as cash began talking to -- or rather ranting at -- him. putting a cautious hand on the guy’s shoulder ( unsure if wanted, but django ? a hot guy who thinks he can do whatever -- pretty privilege ), he looked straight into the other’s eyes. with body language that one would think would end with ‘we’re gonna figure this out!,’ django paused for a second... then replied, “ brother, i have heard no one hear bullying her. she’s just a note in the case file, love. ” more pretty privilege ? pet names ! “ now, are you not the one now bullying a missing girl ? shady cash, hm ?... ”

conclusion:

trip was athletic, kady was wealthy, peter was smart. while i believe it is entirely possible that something was just missed, i also believe it’s possible that the three planned a getaway, so to speak. their family lives and statuses will have to be looked into more.  i do not believe they engaged in identity theft, as that would be difficult to plan together, but i don’t believe there were any supernatural occurrences. if something happened, i believe it was of their own doing. they weren’t found with evidence of death or kidnapping because they kidnapped themselves. more questions will need answers to further prove or disprove this wonky hypothesis. ruling: not supernatural, but worthy of investigation.
