Could you talk about which shifting method you use?

i do a version of this every time i shift—more or less

i call it embodying my dr self. it’s where i consciously take on the thoughts, feelings and mindset of whatever awareness i’m shifting into by thinking to myself about my dr until a natural stream of consciousness begins to form.

if that sounds complicated, it’s not. i literally just start with something basic, like what i’m feeling at that moment. i use my imagination. it doesn’t have to match my present circumstances because i don’t force myself to feel changes. i believe it’s impractical to try to shift your surroundings before you’ve shifted your mindset. it’s backwards. the mindset always shifts and the physical follows because you are not shifting to be your surroundings, you’re shifting to be YOU. if you’ve heard that line of thinking from the shifting community before, it’s because they got it from me!

i allow myself to get lost in thoughts of my dr, of scenarios, of myself and it usually doesn’t take long for me to feel connected before i say a version of “i’m in my dr.” and go to sleep. i don’t try to chase a feeling or a symptom. i don’t try to make myself feel a difference. i just let the connection settle deep within my core and go to sleep knowing. sometimes if i’m shifting awake i’ll do sense work. i’ll think to myself what i’m going to feel or hear or see and then go back to thoughts of my dr until those senses begin to connect. i try not to micromanage. i try not to check if the senses are working or if things are changing or if i’m feeling what im feeling. when i do, i find that i lose the pocket i was in but even then, i’m able to readjust and get myself back there within a few minutes. but 9/10 i’m shifting asleep because it’s my preference as i shift at night.

sometimes i just say “i’m in my dr” and go to sleep but those usually result in mini shifts so i do a little bit more now to ensure i get what i want. this isn’t fool proof but it’s what works for me currently and has been something i’ve been doing with lots of success since april. however it did take mental resilience to get to a point of being able to accept shifting to be this easy for me and i still have so much more to learn.

S : " My first and, I feel like almost everyone’s, is my mom. I grew up watching her do her makeup for work. We'd watch makeup tutorials together, and it was all from an early age, so that definitely made a lasting impact on me. "

Q : " What is one beauty tip that has been passed down from your mom or family? "

S : " One beauty tip I learned from my mom is, good skincare equals a good base for makeup. I feel as though most people don't know that. Makeup and skincare go hand in hand, and if one is not routine or out of whack, your whole base is f*cked. WAIT, can I say that on Vogue… SORRY "

Q : " What song makes you feel like 'that girl' when getting ready? "

S : " For a while I thought beauty, especially my beauty, was based on looks, but now that I've grown I've totally rewired that thought. Q : '' How do you deal with stress showing up on your skin? "

S : " I don’t know, I go on a spiral hahaha. No, but seriously, I remind myself it's not the end of the world and whatever is stressing me out isn't that serious and I need to chill. What I like to do is a pimple patch and pimple cream, turn on my LED lights, light a candle, and watch one of my favourite movies, like, umm, 'The Great Gatsby'. "

S : " SUNSCREEN! It's super, super important to use. I know it’s very hard to do every day, I get it, but it will help you in the long run. For when you get older or don’t develop any skin cancer. "

S : " Yes, I do! I mix the Sweet Tooth perfume with the Mod Vanilla perfume, and OH MY GOD, do I smell good! My boyfriend, Mason (Thames), loves how I smell, and I get compliments on my scent all the time. "

𝓥ienna Rose has a diverse collection of songs that accompany her on stage, after all—every ballerina needs their music. Ranging from soft and ethereal, cinematic and emotional, to seductive and dreamlike. She has a way of blending all into one, setting her music apart from the rest, and weaving her name into each and every-one of her songs. Under such melodies lies deeper truths and fragments of her life. In other words— she is her own muse making her life, and such experiences that one would only wish to bury deep into the blue and forget, into a work of art.

.𖥔 ݁ ˖ 𓂃꒰“𝓕emme Fatale” : her oldest range of songs .ᐟ

"𝓕emme Fatale" is some of Vienna's earliest work, and being Vienna's first, the vibe of someone who had just gained they're voice and parts of there aesthetic shined through. This series of songs embodies the story of a young singers persona in the makings of their career. Nothing being much to this range of songs that is obvious. Some songs seeming quite satirical, though sweet bestowing the nature of the “Fontainiane dream”. In a way with such melodies being short and dear, even a little “seductive”, hide the true nature of the album, making it hard to catch such lyrics that tie the meaning of the songs being communicated—but that is a meaning in itself. If the audience looks closer into the songs, it tells a tale of someone conflicted of there dreams, hiding such confusion and tension under what someone may view as a fantasy, getting lost in romanticism but not letting anyone into the singers personal life. And i guess at that time period in which Vienna released such songs it was a reflection of her hidden.

sidenote: I have to admit I don’t have a set name for this series of songs, I had to come up with a name on the spot for the sake of this post but overall this is like “Born to die” extended, but I want it to be somewhat original with the name of this album rather than just naming it “Born to die” so lets just go with “Heaven lost” !!

“𝓗eaven lost’s” collection of songs is by far, the most cinematic, heart wrenching yet tragically beautiful making Vienna’s name rise to fame. It’s the perfect blend of emotional rawness laced with luxury and the price of fame, hiding the heartbreak yet complexity of love torn. It follows a story of two lovers and the lead up to the separation of one another. During the separation the singer gets lost in “fame”, “fortune”, connections with others, and the “suffering” starting over brung, while staying strong in the midst of distance between her lover, holding onto hope that they’ll reunite. The audience will find in this series of songs, a great contrast between certain songs some being more heartbreaking then others painting a picture of the singers fantasies in reuniting with her lover, the re-telling of there separation and staying strong to each-others love, while outsides may ask “why?, eventually leading up to the reunion of the two. While other songs may dive into the complexity of the fame and fortune bestowed upon the singer, creating this superficial yet luxurious feel to the songs— making such desires and dreams almost satirical. Overall this album will forever be a marking in Viennas artistry— rewiring the limits to music, creating her own genre that one cannot dream to remake. (and yes most if not nearly all of these songs mentioned below are dedicated to my s/o in my dr being based on true events)

“𝓐ve Maria” is Vienna’s most dreamlike, and ethereal range of songs yet with a haunting layer of allure to it, making sadness, despair and uncertainty into something one can only listen to and admire. This set of songs—as you can imagine, absolutely fly on stage, being a ballerina. With the upmost ethereal set of instrumental music that captivates Vienna’s voice while she twirls, leaving the audience spell bound in there wakes— yet equally as dark and haunting. With “𝓐ve Maria” being the opener and the name to this album— The album convey’s a story of isolation, yet the desires and dreams that the young performer once held, challenging the path once laid out for her, making who she is today. The album has a quiet hum to it, it’s not loud nor demanding and with that conveying the isolation and desire for stillness of oneself and the outside world, while at the time she lacked. “Escapism” is conveyed through this series of songs by the overally romantic yet, haunting tones to each song that it doesn’t fail to miss. Putting the audience in a position when listening to this album where they too feel like they’ve been transported somewhere else, almost hypnotised into a dream one cannot fathom to escape. Making the album addictive. As the songs goes on, they get darker and such romanticism starts to where off leaving the singer to confront reality, and ending the album with the track “Swan song” saying goodbye to the dreams the singer was plagued of, and finding beauty in giving up.

“𝓑lack beauty” is the album that sparks conversations among Fontainians, along side her other songs and collections this is by far her most vulnerable range of songs— diving deep into the performers hardships, struggles faced, the love she found herself once pushing away because of conflicting paths and commentary among the family she was raised in. It’s harsh and unapologetic— but it doesn’t hide under a facade of fantasy and romanticism but presents its self exactly as it is. Finding beauty in the darkest hours of her life being more than one dimension to this collection that once plagued her life ill. The album starts off with a dark twist, depression, despair and isolation at its finest conveying a sense of hopelessness that was once present, getting lost in others while losing sight of one self, and losing the connection between her and her now lover that she once held dear. As the album gradually progresses, theres a slow transition between hopelessness to hope— in other words, a spark reignited within the singer, a passion or in other words love found and recognised— that she once pushed away. Throughout the collection the songs begin to get more lighter, more sentimental and accepting of the connection that lied between him and her. By the end of the album the love she once fought was the one thing that saves her, pulling her out from the black into the blue and illuminating her soul.

I feel the need to explain how performances work in my dr since I feel as though people may be confused in how being a prima ballerina and singer song writer works (LMAO), but anyways so yes I produce, write and sing my own songs independently they are all released on vinyl separately but because I'm also a ballerina I have my ballet performances and I preform and sing my songs on stage while dancing, and all the songs are like orchestra adaptions of the songs but yeah I really push the limits in my dr with my artistry and go all out.
