So Iâm going into work but if anyone would like a ball starter from Ben, Emilie, Christine, Ponty, Dimitri, Violet, Heather, Anna, or Tommy, like/reply to this and Iâll get to it!
Normally, Emilie would never be caught dead in a dress, especially not one so flowy and feminine, but this being a ball, she took it as her one night of sacrifice. The one night where not a hair was out of place and she actually had makeup on. Even if she hated the experience and could barely walk in the heels she was wearing, she enjoyed actually feeling pretty for once. Lord knows she didnât on any given day. Still, she stood in the corner alone, sipping a drink. She looked over to see someone nearby, and offered a soft smile.  âSo are you just as miserable as I am?â
Emilieâs outfit for the ball is this, and she doesnât have a date yet so Iâm open for plots!

Emilie couldnât help but let out a soft sigh.  âLook, I... Iâm sorry for flipping out, itâs been a really long day.â She ran a hand through her dark curls, tugging slightly to get through a knot that stopped her hand halfway.  âPlease, unless you wanna take a few of my shifts for me thereâs not much you can do. I appreciate the sympathy, though.â

cherry: can you play any musical instruments or can you sing?
âNo instruments. I sing a little when Iâm on my own, but Iâm nothing special.â

âHonestly same, they are cheaper and thereâs a ton of good clothes.â
âI completely agree! Honestly, department stores are overrated in my opinion.â

Benjamin had invited Emilie out with him to buy matching date outfits for a special event he had to tend to. Of course, he wouldnât force her to come along if she didnât wish to, but he figured it could be fun to see the new museum pieces together and go out for dinner together. And, nothing was better than matching in attire. âThis isnât completely boring, is it?â
Normally, Emilie detested shopping and usually just grabbed whatever looked like it would fit her from a local thrift store, but being with Benjamin made the situation much better for her.  âNo! No, of course not. Iâm having a great time, really.â
onemcreday:
âI promise I wonât take up too much of your time.â Marius smiled softly at the sight of the other. âI was thinking about maybe celebrating the holidays together? Perhaps Thanksgiving and Christmas both if youâd like? I know this is sort of short notice with Thanksgiving coming up and all but⊠this will be the first time Iâm alone for the holidays and I feel as if we could both use a little cheer in our lives.â
Emilieâs eyes and smile both widened, though her smile soon turned into a smirk.  âYou sure you want me around? You might get sick of me after an hour or two.â She stuffed her hands into her pockets. She couldnât even remember the last time her family had a real Thanksgiving or Christmas together. The most sheâd ever gotten on either holiday was a shortened work schedule. âBut seriously, Iâd really like that. Do you want me to bring anything, or...?â
onemcreday:
Marius was a bit surprised that the other seemed to already know what he was currently going through, which was actually a bit of a relief that he wasnât the only one experiencing this all. âItâs a bit crazy⊠isnât it?â He tried to lighten the mood with a little laughter. âAs much as baggy clothes look cute on most people, I donât think this girl is used to wearing baggy clothes and I donât really want to make her look bad⊠so youâd be a lifesaver if you let me borrow some more fitting clothes.â
âMore than a bit. I mustâve aged twenty years or something.â Emilie nodded with a soft smile. Being older all of a sudden had its advantages, but it was also incredibly awkward for her.  âHey, no problem. Iâm sure we can find something that suits you and her. Follow me.â She started walking toward her house.  âIâm Emilie, by the way.â

A small chuckle fell from Adamâs lips, sympathizing with the otherâs problems. âIâve had my fair share of creepy old men hit on me today too, which is⊠new for me considering Iâm usually a guy.â He offered the other an empathetic smile. âI donât know how you girls deal with this kind of unwanted attention so often, I apologize on behalf of all men everywhere.â
âI guess you just get used to it after a while.â Emilie shrugged, her lips pursed together into a thin line, and she shook her head.  âWell you hardly seem like one of those creeps, so I appreciate the apology but you really donât have to.â

A sigh escaped Lance as he scrolled through the strangerâs phone. There was nothing interesting on here at all. Did the boy know what a secret was? Though, he was amused that he found Elliotâs number in the contacts list. âHey, you think I should message someone and tell them Iâve been having erotic dreams about them? You know, as a joke.â And to save him from his boredom.
Emilie couldnât help but let out a relieved sigh when she saw Marius, and she prayed that somehow he was his normal self, but it was soon made obvious that he wasnât. When he spoke, her eyes went wide and she shook her head.  âDonât you dare.â
@fcllofrvin
âHow awful do I look right now?â A skeptical look was clear on Mariusâ face as he glanced down at the clothes he was currently wearing. He felt a bit guilty and weird wearing the otherâs clothes even if they did belong to the girl whose body he was currently in. So he had gone back to his own home, putting on his usual attire; his button up shirt and blazer quite big on his new slender frame.
The clothes looked familiar to Emilie, but for some reason it didn't click in her mind that she was talking to her friend. "Let me guess, body swap issues? Hey, I'm guilty of wearing oversized clothes so I can't really judge. If you wanna borrow something of mine, it'll probably fit you better."
@skepticalfreeman
âUgh. I guess now itâs not as creepy when old guys hit on me at work, but still, I hate this.â Emilie rambled, not really to anyone in particular, before she noticed someone else standing near her.  âSorry- I was talking to myself, wasnât I?â
xnmydreams:
âMaybe itâs because it was in the back of your closet.â She points out with a small laugh, looking down at her own clothes again. âI found this at the nearest thrift shop, theyâve actually got quite the cute clothing.â
âOh gosh, I know! I practically live in thrift stores. Where do you think I got this from?â She motioned to her top with a smile.
lukaslarsenisms:
âWow, okay, Sunshine,â he said, surprised by the sudden compliment. But, he did smile from it. âI like your attitude. You just get rid of a toxic boyfriend or something?â He asked with a soft chuckle.
âOh, no, toxic father, actually. Iâve never had a boyfriend.â Emilie seemed way too chipper for someone whose father just died, but right now she just didnât care. Â

Meg was used to being a loner so it was a surprise when someone unexpectedly not only greeted her but provided her with a compliment. She glanced behind herself quickly to make sure she wasnât talking to someone else. âOh⊠thanks. My mom picked it out for me last Christmas. I like yours as well. You look really pretty.â Something she definitely secretly envied.
âWell your mom has really good taste!â Emilie smiled and ran a hand through her hair.  âOh gosh, thank you so much! I usually donât put this much effort into how I look, but this morning I thought Iâd give it a shot!â
