it’s genuinely so upsetting that nobody acknowledges the fact that claire was probably equally traumatized by raccoon city as leon. like she’s YOUNGER than him. she wasa college student. unlike him she wasn’t trained for tense situations like that or to survive .and imagine the toll it had on her to see all of those dead bodies. like leon had to have experience and training in survival and emotionally handling dead bodies and stuff. and she’s barely an adult but she’s given the title of “mom” or mother figure just because she wasn’t going to let sherry die. she saw sherry as a friend and an equal in my eyes. maybe im projecting but claire is NOT the mother type. she’s a young woman who has a ton of empathy and kindness but not one who I can see caring for a child voluntarily,.

First time I played RE2R, I chose Claire’s story. To this day I don’t regret that choice! She’s truly an underrated character & her story was 1000000000000000000000000000x better than Leon’s! It’s rather insulting to her & her fanbase that she hasn’t been showcased in any recent projects besides RE2R & Death Island! I pray we get the Code Veronica remake because it’s about time Claire gets the spotlight!!!
