Coming out as gay to homophobic family members while still being financially or in any way dependent on them, should be considered a suicide attempt.
It IS that serious.
Apparently were using the term "nepo woman" now... the misogny is astounding
Ive said this before but its important so will repeat but,
laws do not just exist to prevent crime
they exist to punish criminals.
I’d like to ask you, how would you plan to check to make sure that every person is a “biological woman” How would you make sure it isn’t a trans woman who passes? How would you make sure it isn’t a trans men who doesn’t pass? How would you deal with intersex women? They’re not biological female or male. How would you deal with that?
The answer is that it’s not a fucking problem, you’re just a misogynistic creep
We wouldn't check, we just expect that people respect the boundaries and safety of women enough to respect same sex spaces.
Also intersex people aren't a third sex that is neither male or female. They may have a combination of sexual characteristics.
For example turners syndrome is when one of the x Chromosomes in a biological woman has not formed properly causing medical issues. Individuals with turners syndrome are still considered female, as it only occurs in females.
Your understanding of intersex identities appears to be limited.
this is literally a word for word conversation i had with someone who was previously a friend, who went on to block me and call me a terf, mass blocking all my followers and spreading rumors about me.
because of this conversation, which i ended by pointing out how it was cyclical.
enjoy the flow chart, i know i do
When I say everything men say is a projection, I mean EVERYTHING. It's men, not women, who "try to take everything in the divorce".
When a woman is no longer under his control, he tries to ruin her. They assume this is what women want to do as well.
Maybe I'm wasting my breath bc you're just a bot or using Ai to format (you repeated yourself in another reply in a very ai way) but I sent you thought through messages that you didn't really read or answer. Is it because you don't have answers or you're a bad reader? and then you decide that being mean will make that less obvious? I bet you'll just reply to this with something trying to be mean like "you dont know basic biology" or whatever. Or you'll just ignore it like you do other hard questions idk. Not everything has to be a gotcha moment (especially if you're not really getting them lol)
I dont reply to every post in my inbox because I dont have to. You didn't ask any hard questions. I deleted your last ask because it wasn't worth my time to respond you would rather argue about semantics than actually come up with a response to any of my points you essentially just said "no your wrong"
just a silly ha ha for your morning, my dog who was raised in an all female household (I lived with all girls in college!) and now lives in a lesbian household (she has two moms🤝) is “transphobic” as fuck. she’s clocked TIMs before because she’s so scared of men, regardless of how they identify. a true girls girl. protect female only spaces (she would agree)
Thanks for sharing ❤️
I don’t understand this wave of TRAs because their main things appear to be 1.) gender nonconformity is ok and should be celebrated and 2.) the misgendering of an individual is never ok and you should be able to tell if someone is trans and use the right pronouns based on how they are dressed/present themselves. Those two things can’t coexist. I’ve seen people on here complain about being called “sir” or “ma’am” on here (almost always by minimum wage workers mind you) and they always say “how could they not tell!! It should be obvious!” but in a world where GNC is normalized that would be impossible.
Even with the case of pronoun pins, I’m sorry but if I’m just having a fast conversation with you my first instinct is not to immediately look at and read your buttons especially when they’re in a cluster of other buttons and things. So now I don’t know what they expect really. If you bring this stuff up people say it’s not that deep but like some people seriously spiral if you misgender them and with my morality OCD it makes me feel like shit.
Gender non conformity is treated very strangely by a lot of trans people. They often point to it as a sogm of beimg trans which may be true for some people but often do it in a way that suggests gender non conformity is a precursor to beimg trans.
Misgendering is also something that seems to be misunderstood. Public consensus is that if you look like a woman you are referred to as she/her etc. The issue is that pronouns are typically seen as a very minor part of being female/male however the trans community places a lot of significance on them.
Feel the need to remind everyone that science is not this one unanimous ideology that all says one thing. A fundamental part of science is the testing of hypothesis over and over, scientists do in fact test things again just to check the results.
In addition, just because science makes mistakes doesn't mean we cant trust science, this ties into point number one. Distrusting all science because it is "misogynistic" is in my opinion a gross oversimplification. Just because scientists dont study the female body as well as they should doesnt mean they are wrong about everything else and we should all start binge drinking and chain smoking immediately.
Idk if you meant to reply to my ask because you only seemed to answer part of my question(s) and then 'rejected' a bunch of things that I didn't say? Is this you trying to do a gotcha moment or is there a language barrier perhaps? I'm simply trying to have a conversation and understand.
So a few things:
1. I agree that "reinforcing the binary" is not the correct phrasing. Which is why I didn't say "reinforcing the sex binary" and I reject your use of interchanging that with what I actually said.
2. I never brought up intersex people or a "third sex category". So i reject that as well. I wanted to know how you define sex (gametes, genitals, chromosomes, etc) amd i thought that was pretty clear when i said how do you define it.
2b. But yeah sure since you want to, what exactly is your fact based scientific method for sorting them into female/male? I'm assuming using dsd based on your wording (correct me if. I'm wrong) but that incorporates a lot of human judgement and feelings that lead it to not being very fact based or logical. I find both transphobes (terfs) and trans rights activists use and ignorance of intersex people endlessly frustrating.
3. I never said female anatomy is degrading. We agree on the front that having female anatomy isn't degrading. You made a weird inference on my actual words. Idk if that was Freudian or you're fighting a fight that I'm not picking with you but know we do not disagree on that front.
4. You saying sex characteristics is science and thus isn't the patriarchy is crazy to me. As if the science field is not full of misogyny and sexism. I think there are immutable facts that aren't interfered with but I definitely do not believe sex to be one of those things. I am however always open to hearing other viewpoints and reasonings.
5. I am still confused on how sex would have less misogyny attached to it. I think you are claiming these are just facts but there are still a lot of "science" around sex (not just gender) that is entrenched in genderism and sexism (as mentioned before). Would you then address this after the abolition of gender in your feminist timeline?
"When you assume you make an ass out of u and me"
If you cant understand basic biology I won't explain it to you.
Sex is based in a combination of genitals, gametes and chromosomes. You know what a woman is you came out of one.
Gender is based on thoughts and feelings, thoughts and feelings are the basis of misogyny.
Sex is based in genitals, chromosomes and gametes. Vagina and penis are tangible concepts not based in misogyny.
If we cant define male and female, we cant define misogyny.
Also you 100 percent said "enforcing the sex binary" is just double checked.

Holy coincidence... The whole femboy thing that the trans community suddenly doesn't like anymore.. it's cause femboys call their bullshit and they don't like it🙃 it just so happens that 2 really prominent gender nonconforming groups of people (non trans butch lesbians and femboys) directly challenge the entire criteria of transgenderism so, of course, they are the most vilified from the trans community
"You have to be careful in the lesbian community be they're so terfy! They need to heal their inner AGAB preference ♡"
"Femboys are transmisogynistic because they use a slur against trans people!!" (I'm still unsure what that is tho??)
"Femboys give in to fascist stereotypes!!" Meanwhile they're just gay, effeminate, and not denouncing their male-ness. A focal point in BEING a fem boy is just being male. No wonder tras hate us
This is just example number 100 of how much the trans community has shifted in a much more radical way in the last 5 years or so. People used to praise femboys for breaking gender norms but now its relentless criticism.
Ultimately this is just self destructive, this is actually one my reasons for peaking, the narrative kept changing and didnt make sense
Genuine question(s): do you really think getting rid of gender and enforcing only a sex binary (which I'm also confused on how you'd define and categorize) will end misogyny and sexism? If yes, how? I believe in getting rid of gender norms but a reliance on sex characteristics doesn't make sense to me as the direction to go. It honestly feels more rooted in patriarchy to boil someone down to their reproductive abilities (often how i see people define sex)
I dont think "reinforcing the sex binary" is the correct phrasing here. Recognising that sexual charscteristics are the most logical and consistent way of defining female/male is what I would like. I believe in the latter part of your statement you refer to intersex identities- I have addressed this previously but intersex individuals are not a third sex, they are people with medical conditions.
Gender is not the only oppressor of women, abolishing it would significantly help the rights of women by allowing us to address our oppression more directly and help tackle other issues as without gender there is no gender stereotypes etc.
Reliance on sex characteristics is not patriarchy. It is science and yes it does boil down to sex characteristics because thats the difference between men and women. That's literally ehat sex is. Thinking this is degrading to women is implying that having female anatomy is degrading which I reject.
Huh I didn’t think of the Miku thing that way, I saw it more as a plushie being baton passed around. I’d see it the same way if it was pikachu or something. But I do think some of the fanart has those undertones, now that I think about it…
good addition. although i would argue that comparing miku to pikachu wouldn't be the best comparison as pikachu is essentially an animal creature whereas miku is a representation of like a real human (i know shes like a hologram or something but yk).
