I also wonder if Toronto got cooler since Drake happened. He's been hardcore promoting Toronto. I don’t remember anyone boasting about Toronto before him. Well, at least I didn’t. I was also young and naive and ignorant (still am... eh).

Still struggling to be a good steward of the time I’ve been given. Still sleeping late, waking up late, and just wasting a lot of time as a result. Still need to start leaving my phone and laptop downstairs before heading to bed.

What’s been going onnn

I started two fake Instagram accounts that document/celebrate the relationships of two couples that I know. 

It’s been a blast. 

I constantly find myself laughing at my own phone-photoshopping and lame captions at 3 in the morning.

Sooo life has been kind of busy. 

Too busy to write tumblr posts T___T

Hmm what has been happening...

Oh ok so I applied to two film scoring workshops which shall remain unnamed. I doubt I’ll get in but yolo right so I submitted anyway. For whatever reason their deadlines were on the same day soooo I almost died trying to get them done. 

I’ve been working on a song for this Chinese songwriting competition. Yayyy. 

Also been planning to make a music video, but actually I was planning that almost 2 weeks ago now, but then I had to rush the applications last week so everything’s been on hold. Hopefully the “team” and I will be back in business by next week. 

Played two gigs with my band these lights last week. At Rivoli and Gladstone. Super sick venues. 

Another gig coming up on Friday at the Smiling Buddha. 

OH btw I saw J Reyez at the Chatime in Scarborough. I was with my mom lawl. I did talk to him tho :D

What else... I’ve been trying to be more conservative with my spending... but uh still been buying wayyyy too much bubble tea -_-

I had my last orchestration lesson today. Sad. Feels like another chapter of my life is over loool. I wish I had done better on my assignments so I could get more feedback on my writing, but every single week I got preoccupied doing something else >_>

Okeeee so I just blabbered on in no particular order. Ergh.

Oh my goodness I've resorted to using an 8-bit library on Sibelius. I don't know why it crashes every time I use a normal library. 2nd half is original thing on Logic. *dying*

In the past couple of hours I got 33+ likes on this week-old post about orchestration. I guess there are other classical geeks out there *tear* :’D

New things in life

1. Concealer to hide my dark circles 

Result: I feel awesome 8D Finally... no more annoying “omg you look terrible” comments 8D

2. New rule - turn phone off once I’m ready for bed to avoid lying sluggishly on the bed, awake for another 3 hours doing nothing productive (mostly on Instagram or something). 

3. Leave phone in the kitchen when I work on music in the home studio room thing.

3. Writing everything down in my agenda or “starving musician life daily activities log”. Making lists. Checking things off. 

4. I have to return to my bedroom by 12am every night now >_> yes... i have a curfew >_> ok the reason is because we discovered the reason why my brother never gets good sleep and consequently never wakes up on time for school is because I’m always creeping up the stairs at 4am and since his bedroom is right beside the stairs, his sleep is disturbed by the vibrations of every single step and hears every tiny sound >_>
