Immense thanks to @filiasusceptor for their help!

Asks only appear to not go through when there is only one character. I sent myself ‘this is a test’ with each word in a new ask.

Only these came back.

This may not apply to special characters/symbols such as ►! I sent myself three of those in succession as well:

Once again, all went through.

Tumblr may still be eating asks like it always has, but it is probably not as bad as we think. Just make sure your asks are more than a character long!

how to know if tumblr has been eating your asks: send yourself anywhere between 5-10 asks, ( anon or not ) but have each ask be nothing but an order in which you sent them.

i.e: the first ask says ‘1′, the second says ‘2′, etc etc.

i sent myself ten of these, both on anon and not. This was all i received back:

It doesn’t fit your personal canon

It’s not ‘original enough’

You don’t like the troll

The mun is young and experimenting with creating characters
