Painted this late last night, a quick four hour loose piece, just as a bit of art therapy for myself.  Shadow goes through a traumatic injury at some point in his timeline, which results in the loss of an arm, a bit of ear, and a chunk of shoulder/torso.  He has a companion with him at the time with extraordinary healing powers, so he survives and is rehabilitated.  After the injury, he learns to adapt to his new limitation, but also to expand in other ways to compensate.  Nothing will ever be the same for him, but that doesn’t have to be a bad thing.  Sometimes change is just change.
