Important question
Okay but I think these two are onto something

What a beautiful idea, what inspiring art, I really love you blog
Thank you!!!
- Lauren
This started as a stress-relieving concept from earlier this year, which I abandoned for a while because I didn’t like the direction it was headed. Came back to it with some new ideas, and… I like it! Just a tiny bit different from my usual. (But… I mean, not really; me, take risks?)
This fellow is inspired by Pando, the massive clonal colony of quaking aspen in Utah. (I desperately wished I could have seen Pando, though maybe someday…)
May very well make a proper design out of this, even though I still have that planetary series to do!
Did some sketching on stream, got to draw @basuracake and @phoenix_primeau Bird boys!
First bit of solid proof that I am actually working on the commission queue again! I don’t know how my schedule became so crowded all of a sudden, sorry about that…
Custom Aequis design in progress, this will likely be one of my trickiest yet! Gouache is getting involved for some color layering effects. And the masking pen is on the job, too!
*rechecks color study* well, actually….
All praise gouache.
Guys. Look at this old art of mine that I found. It’s from almost 7 years ago.
Those wings, that color *shudder*
But hey, it’s good to see improvement! Even back then, I was drawing red dun pegasi. Interestingly, this was also before I got my current horse, who is a red dun.

Wisptober Day 11 - Clarion
"Every morning, the Ram would wake the mountains with the help of the sunrise and the sound of his golden trumpet, which could be heard all across the valley.“
Stay tuned for more catch up today!:D
I like to hunt fish but only at night A real tricky task with only moon light!
I love Oscar's icy, wintery colors <3 Coloring this guy was fun :3
Sometimes subtle color shifts want to fight you, and you oblige them.
Custom Aequis inspired by mourning doves in progress. Spring is doing its best to interrupt me, as usual!
We love this nerd bird very much, but Tyler is @deenaabeanie's wonderful dork to expose 👀

I’ve not drawn these guys all together, I need, to, I’ve been on a super siblings dynamic kick. In this world, language takes on many non vocal forms, as there are many races that cannot vocalize. Some use “talking under the sleeves” a tapping language. Yulic and Po have been tapping before Po hatched, much to the chagrin of their older brother. Imagining a baby tengu, they must have beaks in order to break out of their eggshell, which later turns into a more human-like face.
Blue Bonnet Clip-tailed Mini Longwing
These small longwings are uncharacteristically flashy for their class, and tend to congregate nearby large, deep lakes. They dive into the water to catch freshwater eels and medium sized fish. Like the blue blanket shortwing, ranchers covet the blue pigments in their wings, and often attempt to breed blue into larger pegasi.
We’re going on a Kingfisher kick. Strap in lol

Crowfall miniatures (28mm scale)
#1-#5 out of a set of 21
Once upon a time I gave money to a Kickstarter game project because an artist whose work I enjoy was attached to the project, designing monsters. The game took many years longer to release than projected and didn’t really live up to the initial concept, but to my surprise there were some miniatures attached to the tier that I pledged to, and they did send them when the game officially released. This has been my main painting project for the past year.
