He’s going to very carefully sit himself behind Sora and nuzzle into his neck. A wing curling around them both while his arms slip around the neko’s waist so he can gently stroke a kitten.

“So soffft. Have you named them?”

Sora couldn’t help but purr, relaxing at the affection. “Uh, not exactly. I mean, we’ve thought over a few names but some of them are still kinda up for debate. Pythos and I shouldn’t be taking this long to debate on names, but… well, he keeps suggesting greek names for Miss Viridi and I keep suggesting other names….”

He trailed off, looking to the kitten with the blonde fur and picking her up. ‘”I also kinda want Roxas to be around to give a name to this little girl, since he was a bit exited on some of them turning out blonde… well, he was more thinking they’d be like brunette and blonde but genetics don’t really work that way…”

Such a shiny golden coat, the kittens are so beautiful. And they were Roxas’? He’d have to ask later why Roxas didn’t invite him. Or at least tell him. He wasted so much time not flirting with Sora!

“She’s so cute. They all are.. I’d try to help name them but the only male name I have is Sol.”

He’d keep it for his own babies but angels can’t reproduce. If Sora wants the name he can take it.

“Right. He has a name now. At least Kuro isn’t as insulting as Pittoo. Highly uncreative though. But hey, no skin off my back. I actually got my elemental back as you know and he’s eager to take up the role. I have to let him be a space pirate though. Ulg.”

She has a weak spot for the wind child. Despite all her saying no, she’ll let him follow his heart. Provided her forces help to keep him safe.

“Space pirate? Isn’t he a little too smart to qualify?”

Last she checked they really were dumb. But if that’s what he wanted then let the child soar. The sky was more her domain than Viridi’s though so maybe- 

“Should I keep an eye on him? We’re allies now so there’s no reason not to work together. I have a little mapmaker who would probably adore the chance to map the stars from above.”

Ven would get along with Eureka probably. Both could use some more friends too.

Congrats you got the blush you wanted. Though she huffs and accepts the nose kiss. What else is to be expected from a trickster streak light goddess. “Company mostly. A break from the forces never hurt anyone.”

Hmm, it’s Kuro. Sitting there all calm and enjoying his relaxation. But something is missing… Liiike a pillow to the face! Hope you enjoy the taste of cotton and the cackling laughter of your other self who is now running back to his nest to await inevitable retaliation.

Whatever thoughts that had been running through his mind were interrupted by a large ‘thwump’ to his face as the pillow hit straight on. It fell into his lap before the dark angel grabbed it and stood up, sprinting to catch his twin before he was able to get to his nest. He would show Pit who was better at this!

Sure he would! But they run at the exact same speed and Pit has a head start so he does get more ammo before turning to face Kuro. A wide grin on his face. 

Why play Light vs Dark when you can just fight with fluffy soft bedding? 

“Your reflexes are getting slow- If you let yourself get rusty it won’t be fun to fight you anymore~!”

Happily giggling Light Goddess kisses nature’s nose. She needed little flower kisses today. 

“Good afternoon to you~! Are you here for some tea? Or maybe just some attention?”

No she’s not teasing- okay she’s a little bit teasing. She hasn’t seen Viridi blush in too long.

Someone missed you apparently. His wings are floofed up in his excitement. Kittens are cute! Annnd soft. Annnd tiny. So very tiny. Sora himself is two of those things.

There’s the little white-feathered angel he was expecting. Though ‘Momma Neko’ moving around to check the angel out did stirr the kittens slightly. But he wasn’t going to protest about the company, especially if it ment a bit of cuddle time.

“The kittens are about 3 months old now, They are very fuzzy, you can pet them if you want, and we can absolutely cuddle~”

Well having a sudden fan is probably an odd day, but one with bright white wings that are clearly moving to flap while he excitedly bounces is probably a never before seen thing. He probably should have tried to pretend he’s human buuuut too late. Hey he got excited, there’s a cool lady with a pair of rocket skates!

The normally spotless coat was marred and ruffled, the hybrid wandering was trembling, flinching at the unfamiliar sounds and weak with hunger. He’d never gone this long without eating. 

Maybe he should have stayed with the weird man. But the weird man had been trying to steal him and he didn’t want to be stolen. They can’t have gone far from home but to griffon who’d never been outside this may as well have been the surface of mars. He’d been sure he could find home when the in his haste had tripped and allowed Pit to wriggle free and run away.

It isn’t long until he slumps over against the wall, wings huddled around himself to keep warm and it isn’t until he sees a set of paws approach that he looks up.

So he’d heard ‘not lost’… As for the rest, that was confusing wasn’t it? Winged, not winged? What was this thing talking about?

“Uhhh.. Right…. I think?”

What the heck was he supposed to say to this thing?

…That one is not good with these ones words, yes? It understood that its words were not always understandable to most that were not Vanitas. It was hard to speak in an understandable form, it was not good with words.

…Why does… need name, but why wings? Winged one has wings. Was there a reason for the similarities that started with the wings? Or was the same appearance and wings just a coincidence.

Well it’s quite odd these things seem to think he looked like someone else with wings- 

Oh...

“You haven’t met Kuro by any chance have you? We look alike, except he’s always frowning and wears a lot of black?”

That would explain the thing seeming to be confused over why he wasn’t Kuro. Having a mirror copy of your soul was like having a twin but with an even deeper (albeit sometimes annoying) link.

Being able to see souls could be considered cheating in the whole telling twins apart deal. But a single glance is all Pit needs to know this person is not Roxas. And now that he looks closer, this one’s hair is a little longer isn’t it?

Don’t mind him he’s just not looking at your face Pit, he’s instead watching those wings of yours. “It’s uh.. nice to meet you too, Pit. I’m Ventus… uhh. this might be realllly weird to ask but… are you related to Kuro or something?” The dark angel was the only other angel he’s seen, so it’s an assumption his mind is going to make..

If this guy knew Kuro then odds are he was a friend! If he wasn’t Kuro would have kicked his butt after all. That guy was strong and really liked fighting after all.

“It’s not weird at all considering we look like twins and all. Minus the colours. And what about you? Are you related to Roxas?”

…Maybe notwinged one (needed better name, shorter name) would give it sweets if it was nice enough. Sweets were good. Mind said not to make trouble near the goddesses, so that meant no annoying notwinged one just for fun.

Vanitas’ relative boredom (and focused efforts to not be around anything Flood sized that wasn’t a Flood, babies were not something he wanted in his presence) meant there were more floods than usual. And one of those Floods was currently sniffing at Pit trying to figure out why he looked so much like the one they called ‘winged one.’ It battled them anyone could look as similar to someone else as mind did to notmind.

excuse him he’s just going to quietly come over and check on Roxas before he gets too excited. Poor mama must be tired. Pit’s not exactly looking forward to his turn. But babies... 

“Are you alright? If you’re hungry I can get you some food.”
