Winter is Perrys' sibling.
Winter was supposed to start their journey in Sinnoh, but Arceus had other plans and thus Winter had to go through Legends Arceus Nuzlocke.
This Nuzlocke was not kind to them, with deaths in the double digits (which is ironic because almost every trainer battle despite so few killed Pokémon of theirs)
I also failed against Arcanine in the playthrough, hence the burn scar. Among several other times I failed things, so more scars/injuries, so the design and scars are subject to change.
Winters Nuzlocke was catch Alphas only, but in the end they are only allowed to bring a few Pokémon back with them, some rare and non-alpha and their shiny Pokémon. Only Alpha Pokémon they were allowed to bring with them is Persimmon! Probably the first Alpha I caught... and he lived haha.
I am about to play ranger 3, after that I can play their final Nuzlocke! Progress for these stories is slow, but hey it is there!
Kaitlyns Ranger Playthrough is also done, so only her White 2 Nuzlocke to go.
I love the contrast between Winter and Kaitlyn, Kaitlyn has the calmest easiest Nuzlocke and Winter gets traumatized at every corner. The contrast between their adventures is insane. And mirror/Last Stand has the easier rulesets too.
Also Lore, after Perry looked for his sibling everywhere, Winter randomly appears years later, barely 2y older than what should have been several years.
Wanting Winter out of harms way, Perry who is also despite now being Sinnohs champion, also still Fiores Top Ranger, getting Winter into Almias Ranger school, and letting them keep their Pichu with them.
This is a compromise made as well, since Kaitlyn was allowed to have her Manectrike with her, as top ranger and champion, Perry cashed in this favour also with Kaitlyns support, to let Winter have a Partner Pokémon early. This is also nice connectivity.
The fun part is, that due to actually getting a shiny Pichu, I figured I could replace the Ukulele Pichu, with the Pichu I could, giving them the Ukulele.
This is not something I would have written, if I did not get the shiny Pichu in my Playthrough.
This is one of the reasons I love Nuzlockes and playthroughs, because new ideas come up with what happens in the playthrough.
